If that was all I needed to know I'd be set. That's what got me started really, and his DVD is what I was talking about buying. His website already has a bunch of good info, figured the DVD had to be worth the money. Figured you read through the website. The DVD would be a great start. Perry knows his shit and is more than happy to help.

In the middle of Corn Country the damn humidity is just brutal. Heat is ok but mix it with the humidity and it's misearble. Local area rancher lost over 600 head of cattle during the heat wave.
Have you heard the 187? Do you think it can cover a little of the midbass like I want? and also, does anyone have any idea of port/box size etc? I have had the LI and DR series from IA and they are very transient. I am a metal head so they fit my sq perfectly. Follow the IA box specs for the best results.

Incriminator Audio 187 I had an Audioque SDC2.5 15 and was not impressed with it at all.
More than likely the heat inside the vehicle along with the heat build up inside the box from bangin' all day made the basket hot. May want to keep it toned down a bit during excessive outside temps.

get a DMM and measure the DCR of each coil and then you will be able to tell the impedence.
It's been absolutely miserable here in South Dakota with the heat and humidity. Excessive Heat Warnings since last Friday.
More likely psychoacoustics playing a role.
"Bass Knob" or "Bass Boost" is not a good idea as it can send the amp into clipping if not set correctly. I prefer to use the bass & treble controls on the HU.

You could always look for used Sundown in the classifieds. But members have had good luck with AudioPipe AP series. AQ and Crescendo also offer reasonable priced amplifiers direct.
Damn those pics are brutal! You have some serious clipping going on for the NS to turn out like that! Time for a quality mono block, upgraded electrical and "Big 3" if not completed yet.
