2. Thanks Chop! On with some real progress. Here is the wood flooring to brace everything down for the Freeze Fest on the 21st. Here is a photo of my new box being built by the mad scientist Shizzzon Heres a video that I've taken a few weeks ago, never uploaded/posted it for some reason. Pretty nice footage.
3. Thank you very much for the insight. Yeah I kind of already rulled out using it for anything outside of connecting the multiple batteries I will be running. I will look into your suggestions for sure.
4. ok, DON'T PANIC!! hehe Lets just try some trouble shooting steps and see where we go from there. This is probably do to something very small. Ok, we may need some additional information from you, such as: Was your door speakers working prior to subwoofer installation. Have you checked your fuses, ALL fuses. I'm assuming 2 amps? Have you checked ALL RCAs, how many are you using? What are the make/model amps your using? Power with sound sounds to me like an wiring issue, plain and simple. I think there maybe a few loose RCA connection, or wiring isn't connected properly. What HU do you have? Some H/U's have the option to turn on/off the outpputs of those RCAs. Like a sub on/off. Also, prior to connecting your new subwoofer enclosure, was this high/mid amps connected and working properly? Have you disconnected the speaker wires from the cd player's harness? Also, on those amplifiers, check to see the status of the Master/Slave option if available. I think I've covered a lot of areas for you to check, if none of these get you going, then you might want to consider replacing your HU has you may have a unit with malfunctioning RCAs. Let us know what happens.
5. My Valentines gift to myself.
6. Hello, I have a simple question and was wondering if anybody has tried or seen this done before and thoughts on it. Its been on my mind ever since seeing it at my last job. This kind of cable is not nearly has flexible, I understand that part, but instead of smaller strands of threaded copper this kind of cableing is like, really think copper which is why I even ask. Since it is made up of thicker copper, then I would assume that it would be able to carry more current than normal cableing we see in most car audio applications. While upgrading my electrical, I was just wondering if this would be a logical move or should there be any reasons to steer away from it. My initials plans was to order 50ft of 4/0 from weldingsupply.com which comes out to be $272.84. If I order from ebay though I can get 60ft of this commercial cable for $252.00 I also have the option to order by the foot, which would be most likely what I would do since I doubt I could make a run from under the hood to the battery bank limited by the flexiblity of this material. But for the connection from battery A to battery B and C, I believe this would be a great idea. Here at my current work place, inside the UPS room, they have this setup and is exactly what I would like to try to do. Here are some pictures and links for people to get a better understanding of the brainstorming I have been doing. I can also get a set of 20pk of those terminals as well. Below you will find links that I would purchase from. 4/0 XHHW That I would order by the foot 60' 4/0 AWG THHN Drawn Bare Copper Wire THWN Cable THHN # 4/0 awg Copper electrical wire CUT TO LENGTH 20 New BURNDY YA28 Hylug 4/0 awg LUGs LONG 1/2" STUD thhn xhhw copper wire crimp Thoughts?
7. Very nice pics, that white on white tahoe looks amazing  Why no pics of the music makers?
8. Agreed, that only looks like a zcon to me, looks amazing, the shading is well done.
9. Thank you sir. Haha yes thats a very good guess. I'm never on there, but a fellow member here pointed me in that direction knowing I wanted more power. Thats odd, I talk to him everyday almost now, he's a great guy. He must have sold em all or something I'm not sure. I like teh IA speakers, for their price. They get loud and clear, at higher volumes though, they seem to get really bright and unbalanced. Of course this can be cause by many other factors. But overall I'm happy with them and get compliments on them often.
10. Looks good, but why a volt meter in the rear? I know it came with the distro block but why not chose a different one?
11. how much power are you wanting?
12. are you gna get the havoc?
13. you would say that
14. About one week here, school, work and bs'ing I second hinote on this one lol, Tim it takes you .7 miles to get to work and back everyday, and .4 miles to get to the mall, I don't want to here it. That's cause you live in a village, and it takes ten minutes to reach the other side. I go through $30 a week, at ~28mpg. Lol so true, with my CAI, I now get 22mpg Highway on a 22 gallon tank That's cause you live in a village, and it takes ten minutes to reach the other side. I go through $30 a week, at ~28mpg. I have to commute 5 days a week to school.. probably 60$ a week for me at ~26-30 MPG. Surprisingly despite all the weight I still get good MPG Thought this was the HOP... tooo many windows open.. Looks good Senchez! Thanks a lot! Yeah I'm not looking forward to my MPG here in the next few months Um, yes? lol, Have you looked at the pics? I have the Icon playing right now. Thanks for the comment!
15. If your planning on going straight into an install bay, you can take mecp classes, get certified, and start applying to shops. I like this idea

19. This never got answered, and I've always wondered the same. After making the statement that the AH rating is useless, what should we be looking at to judge the power of a battery? Would like to know as well For example, when I go look for a battery, these are the most common specs to look at:

AutomotiveChemistry - Wet Cell
Voltage - 12.0V
Capacity - 270ah
Rating - 3240 whr
CCA - 1400
Cells - automotive Connector - 6 cells

So based off of this battery, what are the things I should be concerned with when making a purchaceing decision?
20. You got the 12"!! Pussy, get the 18" on there hehe I'm kidding, I can't believe you did that! wow, Looks amazing, this has to be a first
