  5. I hate 2nd gen explorers in regards to their dash. A simple pull and the whole thing can be taken, plus a lot of wiggle with heavy bass, at least wit my old shit.
  6. Happy bumping, what kind of vehicle is this?
  7. With it being so far in rear, only issues we will see is the length of my current cabling, not sure if my current power can reach, also, grounds will have to be relocated

  12. I'm so confused now 14, where did this "port" talk come from? I thought which sub to buy was the debate?
  13. I believe 3 18s will have cone advantage over two 21, but will be close match compared to 4 15s, I believe overall tho, the 15s will provide more output
  14. Here are the subs I installed for a local, helping grow the SSA community one sub at a time And this is.. Well you know what this is Will take more pics onces its here
  15. That is the same terminals I use. If you buy them individually pay attention to what you buy because the pos and neg terminals are different size. Also I replaced the wing nut with a real nut. You can use the Mil spec terminals as well. Basically the same thing with a side stud and it's a little longer. You just have to pay attention to the ring terminal size. Depending on what you buy they may be a little too big in diameter to use. Thanks for that! Will definately keep an eye out for that.
  16. Op, you claim that the ported box was being built and was only given the sealed enclosure as temp, so I would suggest keeping the gain where it is untill you hear how it sounds once you receive your ported enclosure.
  17. Bass drops. So I rewired the subs down to one ohm and attempted to retune utilizing the same method but left ipod at home so we used a young jeezy track. After that there was much better results prior to the attempt made earlier that day, but was still not "as loud" as it was the night before. The gain currently resides at about 2/5ths up. I believe this was a safe spot as it was only slightly quieter than the night before plus it wouldnt allow the user to go stupid with the volume knob as long as he adhere to my advice.
  18. Ok, its dual 4 wired to one ohm, the gain was initially tuned inaccurately the first night of installment due to time constraints and loosing day light, so the op may have been listening to this setup at a point the subs being overpowered for that night. The next day upon retuning the system utilizing a 50hz tone, I notice a slight humming noise, almost like two metals barely taping each other but will sound at
  19. This is me opening the DVD http://s536.photobucket.com/albums/ff323/senchez/?action=view¤t=VID_20111228_105947.mp4 And this is the lastest video I have just shot a few minutes ago. Just a short video to show how amazing this sub sounds and how powerful it is. I love this damn thing, its like a Ninja had sex with a pro Heavy Weight boxer the way it sounds, so quick and accurate but yet so damn powerful! Its a night time which sux I know, but its what I got for now. I can do a cup trick with it as well, a empty medium cup from Tbell lol http://s536.photobucket.com/albums/ff323/senchez/?action=view¤t=VID_20120123_232024.mp4 Enjoy the vids and leave some feedback!

  21. Stock, because I haven't had the extra $800 needed to do a proper projector retrofit. But they are aimed well and I never get flashed. Oh I see... Yeah proper retrofits are pretty damn expensive, and your housing assembly is small too! lol, I usually see around 1k for larger vehicles. Well thats good that you aimed them correctly. Visually, which sets offers the brightest light, yours or your wife's?
