They are projector to lol. Wont be easy. I don't memorize the bulb silly willy, I memorize the yellow blinker or yellow running light. For instance, there are a lot of impala's, and the yellow running lights are on the inside of the shinning headlights.

Very nice build so far, I likey, a lot of money invested for sure, I would go with the 3 18s, but could another option be to ask stetsom to trade your 1 ohm for a 2 ohm? that way you could stick with the 2 18s?

Time to quickly memorize those headlights!!- Welcome to the IHoP
I haven't, I've been leery buying one over the internet (ebay), and found a fair amount listed on CL that I could test out. But the thought of buying one from a mac forum is a lot more appealing to me then ebay, so I'll check that out as well, thanks. I would have a similar concern about buying on a forum, but if the person had good feedback I'd consider it. Apple sells refurbished Macs as well. I've heard of people buying used through Powermax too, but have no idea how legit they would be. Just some options. Checked out the apple store and powermax, CL seems to still be cheaper, hopefully I'll be able to test out the keyboard, trackpad, battery life, and be a happy camper. This seems to be perfect if all is well: http://tucson.craigs...2791920828.html The posting is down, but I remember the one you put up a few days ago. I haven't used those MB's, but I like my unibody MBP a lot I checked the Apple store and yeah, there's not much in the way of bargains. I know it updates regularly and I believe they come with a 1 year warranty. Something to think about if you care about that sort of thing. You seem to know computers though so if something did go wrong I'm guessing you'd be able to fix it. Ahh dammit that one sold! Oh well I don't get paid for another week or so any way. Yeah if something does break I can likely replace it. However I'd prefer not dealing with the headache. True They're in CL a ton though so no big deal. Resale is an upside to buying a Mac as well. If you don't like it you should be able to sell it for what you got into it for easily. Yeah I'm sure several more will pop up in the coming days, and a nice resale value is always nice. I tried the same thing and it made it 100% worse lol. Some cars all run to the same ground, I know a lot of ford cars are like that. Personally I would make an independent ground. A independent ground from where to where? Seriously need help with this. to a solid piece of metal, also check ALL your grounds, I would ground your HU to the frame also, I would also clean all of your amps grounds till they shine. If you look at that pic of the rear of my HU from the last post, I have that wire going to a ground in the rear already. I have a Single copper wire going around all RCAs and go into the Antenna opening. Then, I have three srews from the rear going to a ground behing the HU area.- Team IAK IronMan Explorer
Damn, So I actually might be short FML, I forgot to count ground !!- Team IAK IronMan Explorer
10 Feet in right now, will let you know tomarrow. I wouldn't definately like to have too much rather than not enough though. One run from bat to cargo is ~ 15 feet though, so times that by two right off the batt, plus 10 for Grande Tres.- Team IAK IronMan Explorer

:roflmao: I laughed so hard lol Ok thanks! For sure I will try this tomarrow while I'm installing my volt meter, its quit the bothersome. Yeah they are really heavy! Can't wait to get the, " Its just one 10!!??" lol Haha, yeah, they are beefy lil phuckers for sure, can't wait to hear how it sounds, just waiting for my box to be built by DC Creations... agreed. that 10 looks beefy Thanks It is very beefy lol More beefier than any burger Updates are IN!!- Team IAK IronMan Explorer
Ok so yesterday I got some more mail, and today. Yesterday I recieved my welding cable and jesus, this wire is unlike anything I have ever seen before. Even a 10 ft cut weighs a ton lol. Well here are some pics. Note* I also picked up some copper terminals, super duper heavy duty these phuckers are. The completed box... The wire is thicker than my fingers lol Ok, now for the story, opening the package for the terminals, I wondered, HTF am I gonna crimp these ? They are sooo thick, and just, seem unmoveable. So I found a solution, instead of ordering a 400$ crimper, I used some tool, (don't know the name), and a hammer. The pictures will help explain my method which turned out really great actually and I am very satisfied with the results. Heat Wrap, don't work so well with a normal hair dryer So I decided to double wrap And here I layed out the big 3 1 feet, 3 feet and 6 feet And a quick local stop to AutoZone I upgraded the terminals. Do have a problem though, the postive post of this daily battery is larger than the negative post. The problem this causes is that the new terminals won't snuggly fit on the negative post, so right now, its on there, but isn't tight at all (Yes thats what she said I know), so any opinion on how to fix this? In the morning, I will complete the big 3 withte positive run. Ran out of time today unfortunately Here is the ground I used, its the same one that Ford used. I just sanded down to the metal. And the package today was just my voltmeter that was already dead on with no need to calibrate Thats it for today- Team IAK IronMan Explorer

Got some more pictures to post today Began Very shiddy box build today. I've made some contact with DC Creations, I guess they have a lot on their plate ATM, so this box sole purpose was to be a fill in till their enclosure gets here. And then the new power cable showed up today, I'm very pleased The below picture is my attempt to fix this phreaking engine noise that I've been having. At first, it wasn't too bad, and then I set my gains by ear, and it was very present. So I shaved some paint for the ground of the amp, and done the following to the headunit with that wire sticking out to a ground behind the head unit and OMG, it made it even worse, so right now I have no idea what to do I'm guessing maybe I need to get another wire and attach the wire that is going around the rca's to the frame of the HU?? I'm not really sure what could help at this point. But, besides that, this is where I stand, I will probably run the new wire tommarrow, and through this shiddy box in lol- best head unit?
If you could please, inform us more into detail what it is exactly your looking for in a headunit. Because just like in anything else in this world, there is no one best thing for everybody. My best sex position is not the best for you (etc).- Welcome to the IHoP
