  1. Very interesting video. I like. I would tip my hat off to BMW though because they do have some of the best SQ conrol in their vehicles.

My UFO BTL was my introduction to this community, it will be missed, RIP.
  3. No, not bad at all, like I said, I would buy again if the situation called for. Its a great budget amp. But I'm comparing it to what I've heard thus far, which in its defense, isn't really fair I've seen them smoke a few subs, and it was easy for me to clip in my application at the time. But all of this is user related. As Ricki said, if set up properly, it will work fine for as long as you have it. But when you do things like, run low voltage, or low ohm load, or try to push a 3000 sub with a 1200 watt amp, then things are not as good for that application, if that makes sense.
  4. Looking good, yeah, maybe 1-2" drop would be a nice touch.
  5. By quality, what do you mean? Sound, build, what?
  6. They're cheap amps. Not cheap as in no good, but definatelly no SQ by no stretch of any imagination. I say this on MY experience witht the aq1200. Would I buy again, sure, for the price its not too bad.
  7. Can't play music when in slo mode
  8. Yeah it was pretty fun :-)
  9. Pictures from today's MECA Show. I'm actually driving here to give you an idea of my tint.
  10. Need pics
  11. I would try different enclosure.
  12. All about trial and error Timmy, you have all the equipment, now to speand countless hours on testing, blood sweat and tears brother,
  13. 100$ shipped for the underglow 37211
  14. So the last thing I was able to finish up today was the front bumper thing. For some reason, looks as though the front bumper is darker than the Grille and Grille Lip, I'm assuming this is becasue the finish on the Grille/Lip is a glossy finish, so I'll have to come back with a layer or two more, easy fix. sorry for the dark pics, will share more soon.
  15. In my Sig sir, Leviathan III, also, if you're really contenmplating on it, I would save up and do it right the first time. We all now in 6-9 months you are going to want more power anyway, might as well go hard right off the batt, vs spending cheap money now, then more cheap money later. Its how I view things. Plus, I'm willing to bet you'll have one of the most badass amps in your neighborhood that nobody has ever heard of.
  16. Yes, for the money, more power can be hand, best thing to do would be to order two to strap and buy the woofer(s) in respective ohm load to get the most power of 2600rms, which I would think safe to assume 3krms daily with the best sound possible while still keeping price reasonable for what you're getting. The amp is litterally like, less than a foot long. I've had my SSA Evil on my zed amp bridged for JUST 600 watts and it sound incredible. I've only swapped back to the 5500 because of sheer power. Heres a video:
  17. Yo word, wer da pics be @ s0n?
  18. The biggest lesson learned here, 30 minutes prep work, 5 minutes painting lol The hood lip panel: It was painted orignally gloss black to match the aftermarket grille, which paint begain to fade horibally. Time to go move some computer servers!
  19. Looks to be a busy day here at work :/ But I was able to finish the grille. I'm here till 11, so I'm gonna see how much I can get done. I'm definately learning how to work with this stuff. It looks like the best way for me to apply this stuff, is to be about 7-8 inches away, and apply many light cloats vs a few heavy coats. I'm really picky when I do things, and pay a great deal of attention to the smallest of details, so using the previous method, of swaying back and forth, I can see "heavy" spots from the overlapping, which I don't like. But yeah, this is some great stuff lol.
