agreed... my old box was hitting exactly 140db on olny 100w. it all depends on the box you build for the sub/subs

i vote the 75 lincoln.... the towncar is just unique in its way and should stay like it is IMO....

yes and no... gains only set about quarter turn.... but still clips out and last time i checked it was pulling just under 100 watts

My favourite low-budget subs i havent decide but they might either go in my monte.... or their going in my house.....

4th order would be the way to go, mainly for music/bassrace you sure about 30cubes for the ported partition? dang, that would mean, the only way to get that would be a wall =/ i would say you should just go with a ported wall if your thinking about a wall. bandpass is so hard to get musical out of. and if you try bandpass... your looking at around a 30/60 split

i have notice (by experience) that se's dont do to well after around 60hz..... just a thought...

that my friend... you should do research on... in my opinion, i would stand by US Amps, because i have had VERY good output with their products.... but thats me. what impedience are you planning on running? and i'm sorry, what sub?

that design sounds good to me... but i would suggest you try your original box first(just to see if you like it) in personal experience... i have noticed that sub up and port back does not sound as loud as sub and port back... or meter any better

nope.... not in college.... just an average joe thats been laid off from job.... i got laid off too, i love unemployment. i put myself back into full time school and i'm transferring to the UC in fall. they're going to drop another $10k a year on me in grants when a transfer over, i love being laid off thats the plans for me also. i'm going to start this fall at the comm. college here, then transfer over to EIU in a few years....
