You might not even need another battery or anything.. Just hook everything up and see what your voltage is at then decide.. Instead of buying a yellow tip now and later you dont even need it.. Im just telling you what I would do..

You wouldnt put a fuse in between the the two rear cells? Or just run them together and put a fuse at the end after the rear cells..
