I'm talking about wiring two of them into 2 ohms.. Wudnt that work?

Ok Im looking on getting my amp for my door speakers.. I only listen to rap and NOTHING else.. I plan on using the Mach 5 Audio MLI-65 They say they are 100 rms at 4 ohm? Now the question is, Cud I wire them up into 2 ohm and just use a two channel amp ran at 2 ohms? Or shud I just buy the four channel amp and run them at 4 ohms? My amp choices that im stickign with are.. Rockford Fosgate T4004 Does 50 x 4 @ 4 ohms and its under rated.. Or.. Rockford Fosgate T3002 Does 100 x 2 @ 2 ohms and its under rated.. Not sure which to choose.. And are those Mach 5 Audio speakers straight speakers to run? And other suggestions im open to but Im sticking to Rockford Fosgate for the amps..

You knows what funny? I just got home from work not 10 mins ago.. Its snowing like hell over here in Michigan.. Im going like 25 in a 50 cuz its so icy and a cop pulls me over. Everything runs clear excpet he asks me why im out so late since im on Parole and its 4 am.. So he gives me back my paperwork and such.. Come to find out he took my drivers license.. So now tomororw morning I gotta call the police station and see if theres a way I can find out if they my License.. Now life sucks..

Ok I just ordered the T20001bd All I need is another amp for my speakers.. Ne ideas on what kinda speakers I shud use? My facotry speakers are 6X8's but cant you buy adapters to fit 6.5's in there? If You can I was looking at the MLI-65 from Mach 5 Audio..

Yeah i was looking at that amp.. You think it wud push the BTL enough? And you think its under rated?

Yeah.. I heard about DB-R but im kinda iffy on used items.. I mean if im spending this kinda money on something I kinda want it to be new you know.. Of course they are rebuilt but I wonder wat ifs you know.. Ill figure something out..

My sub is dual 2 ohm.. But money is tight and I have to buy my amp for my mids and highs so really I only wanna spend around 700$ for it.. I just want to get thoughts on you guys if that Rockford Fosgate is a well built amp..

I have a lil over 700$ to spend on an amp for my 18" BTL I was thinking on buying a Rockford Fosgate T20001bd for a lil over 700$ And money is kinda tight with college coming up and bills and such.. Or just wait and save up a little more cash and get the Sundown 3000D Its really just a ground pounder and im not really concerned about numbers on the mic.. My question is, Is that Rockford a good amp to push my BTL? I just know how Sundown is all good talk and wonderful customer service..

In my mind.. No that isnt the case.. Either sub you have, What ever note is givin to it, It will play it. Thats just my thoughts..

Personally I think two 18" BTL's in yer whip wud be enough.. But go four if you want..

EVERYONE in my town runs Hifonics and they think they are the chit cuz they are so cheap in price..

Rockford Fosgate or Sundown.. Either are great amps.. Its just a personal choice.. Most people on here will choose Sundown but like I said, Its a personal choice..

I dunno I searched on my 1999 Mercury Cougar and it says I havea 130 amp alt for a 2.5 V6 And yours is only a 100 amp alt.. Hmm, either I got the wrong info or thats weird..

Try to stay away from Hifonics.. Go with either Sundown or Rockford Fosgate..
