  1. y dont you drop another 15 in, or go down to 2 12 ssds? cuz you are looking at like a 2-3 db gain, and the gain from doubling the power and cone area is a bigger gain.
  2. the bl leans toward the spl more than the q, but the q will hit harder down low from what i have heard. 1000watts stock, put on the bp power on the q and it can take like 1500.
  3. "SSD does not dig deep" lol bitch please... it does how ever, not play the upper bass like the mainstream subs. but thats not what a subwoofer should play imo.
  4. you are planing on 2 12s, amp, and box with 900$?? the BLs will cost u at around 500 alone. have you ever thought about one sub like a 15?
  5. low? as in sub 30s and lower? if so the ssd or q would be fine.
  6. ssds hits the lows very well. so does the Qs

depends on what rap. that southside stuff that has those pounding lows go with the bl...for TRUE rap i favor the q. from what i have heard the q plays the deep low notes louder than the bl but softer up top.
  8. Qs over the ssd... that way you can get a good size box. and why sealed over the port?
  9. im running a 15 ssd with about 1000 watts (pa2000 amp) and ould not put it on 1200 and deff not 1500. your gunna blow your sub if your planing on taking it to the max everyday, casue you will always want to go louder and keep turning it up and then thats it. get the bp with it or the q it has free bp right now.
  10. there isnt nothing chopped and screwed... late nite tip is in the high 20s i think.
  11. i wish i had a girl that likes 18in subs... lucky

  13. have you look into the BLs?
  14. Im running these for my rears and they sound straight.

bp is cooling, helps the thermal of the sub. ill take the q over the ssd, q is a cleaner sub hits harder down low and can take more power. ssd is a solid sub, sounds good and digs deep, and it gets loud.

  21. ... when you offer to drive everywhere cause you dont wanna here your friends stock system ... when you spent your summers working money on driving around to nowhere just to hear you system ... when you have a bass and system test play list on your ipod ... when the McDonald manager comes outside to yell out you for bumping to loud ...when you researched audio equipment years before you got you car ... when you get angry cause you dont have anymore money to make upgrades ... when you choose to go to a different county's community college just so you can spend more time in your car ... when friends bring there own cd to play so they can hear what it should sound like
  22. dont stress it... i was trying to tell the other guy that you would need cooling for a 1500 bl daily set up
  23. would en ** my bad
  24. ya thats what i said
  25. yeah you read it will make the motor weaker......BUT YOU WILL NEVER EVER know that its weaker on a daily set up EVER Yeah Jon, he worded that terribly. He should have said, if you are running ~1500 watts don't get cooling to save motor strength, get only the pole chamfer. Cooling is a pole chamfer and axial cooling drilled into the motor, you don't loose that much metal. I say get cooling since you will not need all the motor strength you can get out of it. ok your right ... but if yout pushing 1500 wouldnt you want the cooling on a daily set up then
