Well, i was looking at my DD's a couple mins ago I was messing around with the one that pops.... I pushed down to see if i could get it to bottom out and i could but the one that doesnt pop doesnt bottom out. When i placed them beside each other i saw that the cone was sitting lower on the mid that bottoms out. Something is wrong with the spider and its pulling the cone down causing it to hit the back plate very eaisly and bottom out. It is the one thats dented. I need to email DD and ask how much a recone would be

My dads 91 riveria has the 3.8L V6 in it, he never took care of it yet it was still running fine with 300,000+ miles on it. We finally gave up fixing it when the timing chain broke. That engine isnt as powerful as the 3.5L from chrysler.
