Awful sensitive ain't we? All I said was I got one for a little cheaper cause I live in a poor place. I even said, I'm sure somebody in a big city where there higher would probably be glad to save a few bucks. M5 is just a drama queen always gotta twist others words to further his agenda. But that's usually how it goes, the very ones who dish it out can't take it. And how is speaking about the item for sale thread dumping?

Just looked on the ATT website and it clearly states (prices, avalibility, offers, and options very by location) and on there they listed it at $869, so obviously it depends on where your at for pricing, like I said. And M5 I clearly stated that very thing in my first post, and said I meant nothing by it, and that I was sure in a city it would sell for even more. How am I wrong here? I could easily say M5 is full of shit and is often rude and a arseho to anybody who comes on this site. I have read entire post on this site and other sites about what a useless prick he is, and how he has ruined this site, and single Handedly dropped the traffic on the SSA forum. It's to bad to, cause everyone else is real nice, and helpfull. Ow and for the record, he also said I probably didn't have a car, or a system, and I clearly posted picks of all my cars, and one of my systems to which he whined and bitched about me posting to much (like 6-7 picks). Ow and it wouldn't let me post a pick until he posted one then as soon as I put a few picks up and proved him wrong it magically stopped letting me post picks again, hence why I can't post a pick to prove what I say. So don't ask me to prove it then block me from doing just that.

Just because I want kiss your ass don't mean I'm anything but my own man. I assure you I just purchased the exact same phone at Att/Singular store in Corbin Kentucky no contract no nothing just walked in and paid full MSRP and walked back out with it and a otter box. Call them their number is listed I'm sure they will gladly sell you all you want at that price. But like I said before I live in the poorest area in America so you gotta consider cost of living changes on some things but usually new electronics aren't one of them I know I paid $499 for my kids XBox one when they first came out but sometimes some things are cheaper here. And how the hell am I off topic if I'm talking about the phone.

Hello & Intro
yea the 90's where the shit. Phoenix gold, PPI art series, and old school Rockford punches every where, banging some W6's, or stroker's, or old school Orion's on every other block. Now your lucky to even see a system in anybody's car.

(2) Fi BTL 15" - 15000 watts in the trunk
I like how your running your port through that rear deck that's badass. I plan on mounting my amp to the rear deck in my car, as it has no speakers in it, so it will give me more space for a box and battery's. I saw a Cruze yesterday with a FI BTL 18 in it, so I know it will fit now. My box will be on the smaller side around 6 cubes but I'm gonna be over powering it by 1500 watts so it should be ok. Glad to see I'm not the only one bit by the new BTL bug.

New Year, New Product Line From Second Skin
Would it be safe to assume, that this new product would also help keep a car cool, with the air on in the hot summer months?

(2) Fi BTL 15" - 15000 watts in the trunk
I'm going the new BTL route myself, hope mine turns out half as nice as yours. Mine will only be a single 15", on a soundqubed 4500. Mine is going in a small compact Chevy Cruze Turbo, so it should be in the 140's anyways. Let us know how it hits when you get it done if you don't care, I'm curious myself.

Yep even the same color black. Now with the otter box it was $749 plus tax, but the phone was $699 by itself. Everything including tax was just over $800.

Speaker outlets work, one side fuzzy
Cheaper to junk and buy new or even a good used amp. There is a online company that fixes amps and takes trade in's even if there broke or working. I'm having a brain fart and can't remember there name but they also have amp repair vids on you tube to.

Need to upgrade front stage 6.5 evils?
Stay away from Crescendo there customer service sucks. I completely gave up trying to get another BC3800 after almost a year of trying to find one and a bunch of emails always saying will ship soon. And how do you know what a guys system sounds like if you have only heard it on a video. All these vids sound the same to me rattle rattle, flex, more flex, and some highs you can barely understand. Now if you had heard it in person then I could understand but how do you know you will like the sound of the system when all you heard is his system playing through what ever speakers your using?

Yes if you get a contract, I bought mine straight out, cause we have 3 cell phones that are free we use when where not at home, and we use our iPhones at home with the wifi to avoid paying the monthly contract. Obviously I was talking about the price of the phone not the price of a contract. But as I stated before I live in the poorest place in America so it's no wonder things are cheaper.

Yea I figured as much, I live in Appalachia so stuff is cheaper here then other places. Just an example I pay less then $5 bucks for Marlboro reds and when I go to Detroit to visit family there $7.50-$8.50 a pack. But on the other hand we have low paying jobs. If you make $15-20 an hour here you could live like a king, well a ghetto king I guess lol. But yea at the local ATT/Singular store I bought one 3 weeks ago for $699 and gave another $49 for a pink otter box for my wife for xmas. Now somebody living in New York probably would be paying almost a thousand for the same phone. That or I just got a deal or something and didn't know.

No offense but that's more then what they cost new where I live. You must be in a big city or something. I just got my wife the exact same phone for Christmas for $699 at the local att/singular store. Hers is also a black 128gb with a otter box. But good luck I'm sure somebody in a big city where they cost more will be glad to save a few bucks.

How many cubic feet
Problem with 2 12's is the price. Your talking $1200 just for the subs and it would take a considerably larger amp to run 5k watts instead of just 2500. More batt, more amperage from a alternator, more wire, and so on. Considering a single 18" or 15" has almost as much cone area or more then 2 12's it should be almost as loud on similar power. I got just over $2k to do my sub stage, so if I went that route I would have to buy almost everything, and probably take a few months to save up for electrical upgrades, wire, and what ever else the $2-$2300 wouldn't cover. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure 2 12" BTL's Neo's on 5k watts would be brutal in a small car like the Cruze, but your talking a extra $1000 bucks to make it happen, unless I went cheap on my amp, and electrical, and I don't wanna do that. Now if I had just unlimited funds or went with cheaper subs that would be fine but a kind of had my sites set on a BTL NEO. I just think those 6 neo magnets running the sub inverted facing the cabin with the back seat laying down is gonna look bad ass and be decent loud if I can get it set up right. I had planned a Sundown 15ZV5 until I saw the new BTL's. But who knows the way things been going I may have the money to do 2 12's and 5k watts, could always get one 12, and a 2k watt amp, and buy a second sub, and amp later, like I did with my other 2 systems. We will see, I'm gonna order everything I can the first of the year, if I can post picks I will when I get it going, probably take a month or two.

How many cubic feet
Damn that's over 10 cubic foot but that's before port, bracing, and wood thickness of course. Still would have to fire a 18 upwards so I think I will stick with 1 15" BTL. That should leave enough room to run it inverted so the 6 NEO magnets are facing the back seat. That's gonna look badass I can't wait.

How many cubic feet
Thank you for the advice. Like I said before, I never build any of these boxes, so I have never learned how to calculate all this stuff. What is the 1728 you spoke of, I'm not sure what your talking about there, and yes I will most likely go with a 15" just to be on the safe side. And if I had knew how to calculate the box I would have, but I'm pretty sure my calculations where off. I used a online box calculator and plugged the numbers, and best I could come up with was 7.1 cubic foot, tuned to 31htz, but that still didn't tell me if it would fit, just what was optimal for that peticular woofer. I think I'm gonna have SSA draw up the blue prints for a 15" box, and give it to my friend to build, so I know I'm getting the right box tuned correctly, and all that good stuff. I'm pretty sure a 15" inch BTL will still be pretty nasty in a compact car on 3k watts. My only real concern is using the factory source unit, it's the first time I haven't used a aftermarket unit, but we will see how the Audio control eq sounds I guess.

Didn't see this response. I plan on having the box built and sliding it in then putting one battery on each side of the box in the back of the trunk where it widens up behind the wheel wells. I'm thinking I can mount my amp on the back dask since it's huge and has no speakers in it. Back windows are already tinted so heat shouldn't be a big problem plus it will be close to the middle A/C vents blowing back through the seats to. With the interior of the car being so small and the trunk being pretty good size I'm thinking the little car should get pretty nasty loud off 1 15" or 1 18" on around 3k. I wanted a hatch back but there few are far between where I live. I detail cars for 2 different lots and neither one had anything close to a hatchback I would buy. I actually got paid to detail this car and never took it back. It's a 2012 1.4 turbo ltz, silver with black wheels and black ralley stripes. My cousin owns the lot so he gave it to me at his cost $5k.

My math isn't off, I said "almost" as in close, but not quite, 480+480=960 for the 12's, and 1210 for the 18 which is only 250cm2 difference so that's still real close to say 21/2 12's which would still only need 3.75-6.25 cubic foot, to the 18's 6-8 cubic foot. Does the FI BTL V3's not use the same motors, like so many other brands, for all sizes of the woofers? Guess that is where the difference in cone area, woofer size, to air space ratio comes from. Geez what would it take to run a 21" inch driver a u-haul truck with a car size box in the back.

How many cubic feet
Well I don't belong or visit any site but this one so I will just have to take your word on that but I'm not gonna put a 18 in a to small of a box just to say I got a 18". I just want the single biggest BTl I can properly fit. As we all know a 10" in a proper box will go lower and hit harder then a 18" in to small of a box.
-
How many cubic feet
I don't understand how a 18 inch btl can have almost the same cone area as 2 12" inch btl's and need's nearly 4 times the air space. A 12" btl can fit in a 1.5-2.5 box while a 18inch BTL need 6-8 cubic feet. That's one thing I will say about my W7 and sundown teams, they can still work in a small box, well some what small, they fit in a trunk anyways, but then again a 18 is a lot bigger then a 13, and a 12. If I ever get another day off from work, I will let my friend who owns PJ car tunes in Corbin ky, check it out before I order it, his employee will be building the box anyways. Normally he charges me $200 to get the box built and paint ready, then I do the finish myself since I'm a detailer, and already have everything to put a black grand piano finish on it.

How many cubic feet
All I need is 6 cubic foot to fit a 18 I even explained I'm not building the box so all I needed to know is it possible to fit 6 cubes into the 32x32x18 measurements I gave so I can order the sub and let the box guy figure the rest out. And as far as Power I'm gonna try to run it off either a Ampere 3800 or a sundown 3k. I'm gonna add a 240 amp high output altenator and 2 xs power battery's capable of supporting 4k watts. I'm also gonna be using a audio control line out driver and eq off the factory head unit. My goals are as much spl as possible I basically want a fart box that crushes your chest and blurs your vision. I thought if I only got 18" inches of height I could fire the sub upwards toward the deck lid and have the port firing to the side on the back of the passenger side. That's the game plan. If I can't get a 18" to work I will just run a single 15 but I have never ran anything but 12" and 15" so I really want to try a 18" but not at the cost of output. Fi states it must be ran ported at 6-8 cubes.

I'm in the same boat I have never not changed my head unit until now my cruze has such a nice nav unit I don't want to take it out some I'm gonna be ordering a audio control line out driver plus eq for mine. To bad I'm not using my JL HD 1200 it has speaker level inputs already built in.- How many cubic feet
Really? Not one of you self proclaimed stereo gurrous can tell me if a 6 cubic foot ported box can be shoe horned into a chevy cruze trunk, that measures 32 width 32 depth 18 height. - line out converter
