It's always good to come home from a 14 hour work day and find goodies on the porch. I also gotta finish up my wife's dodge and I will post it up to now that I figured out how.

There no evil, but yes they do look nice. Can't wait till the amp gets here. All I need now is a box, xs power batteryx2, and some zero gauge sky high ofc wire, and we will be up and running. Later this spring I'm gonna swap out the pioneer mids and Ct sounds meso tweets for some evils and a DC 4 channel. Also I have a new iPad mini I'm going to use with my factory radio for music and apps.

Yes I understand all that, but it was said the demand was so great that the build house (Fi) couldn't keep up. So I'm assuming with demand being so great a slight price hike would do 2 things, one it would allow the business to hire more help to fill that demand and two slow the demand from (bargain shoppers) so the company can work at a more reasonable pace and fulfill orders in a reasonable time, all the while keeping the bottom line where it's at now or really close. And I know you didn't say anything about what I ordered that was M5 you guys just jumped in after the ensuing argument. I never said any of that. I said if demand is so high that it takes months to do a single batch, why not raise prices slightly and hire more help to fill the need. I understand business just fine, I have built and currently run 2, and part owner in another. And if I have high a demand for something, I hire more temporary help to fill this need. And your right I do not know the inner workings of SSA ,so I can only assume they are either short on capital, or lack the credit to grow. Honestly it sounds like 2 guys running a small business the best they can, selling as cheap as they can, and as fast as they can, and that's fine but don't get hurt at me if I choose not to wait, as it's not personal just business. Like I said, I waited so long to try and get one amp, I gave up. Another thing I'm sure there dealing with is build houses, and parts suppliers. Maybe someday they can start there own SSA build house so they can have a steady supply of SSA and that would definitely put them at the head of the pack. And I will say if the subs are what everyone says, I'm sure people would pay a little more for them, JL, Rockford, RE, DD, and a few more have no problem getting what there stuff is worth. And I'm not bad mouthing Aaron, or anybody I wish them the best, but someone ask why I went DC instead of SSA, and I told them the truth. And sencheezy has said the same thing as me, he loves the brand but hopes they can work on wait times as he thought like me, it was the one thing that's still holding them back from being a big player in the audio community.

What are you on about? Rockford even says the punch is there lower quality budget friendly line of amps so if you want to ban me for repeating them knock yourself out.

Let me clarify. I meant I could get a system of similar quality within a few days, not ssa subs as there built to order. And if demand is so high why not increase revenue so they can staff enough people to meet demand. I would much rather pay $50 more and have my stuff in a week, or two and not have to wait months, or in my case of the crescendo amp, years! That whole deal left me leary of doing it again as much as I wanted some evils. And what's wrong with DC audio? They carry them here on SSA.

I didn't go with a level 4' over evil, I went with 2 lvl 4's over 1 12" evil. I got them both for the same price as what one evil would have costed. That and I didn't want to wait. I waited months to get my sundowns and hated it. Now if I wasn't in a hurry and could have got a high output alt, yea I would have tried the evils. I'm still going to run evil mids and highs. And maybe later on when I get a SUV or something, I still would love to try them.

That's because you where still using a low quality budget amp then replaced it with a slightly better low quality budget amp. Imagine what it would have sounded like if you had bought quality like brax, zed, rf power series, jl slash, or Zapco. I have always heard a difference in sound quality from one amp to the other. Me and my friends all ran 12w6's and infinity kappa's in high school and they always cheaped out on power and couldn't figure out why my M100 and M50 sounded so much better. Maybe it was just more power but it deffinetly made a difference. Now if I just had a sub amp I probably wouldn't have even noticed but it was the entire system that was better. Lower noise floor, and a lot more accurate and clean sounding, not to mention a direct swap resulted in gaining 1/12 db's. It actually amazing the difference in a budget install with budget components and a high end system. I can tell just going from my dodge to the mustang how much a difference quality makes. Even at low levels the mustang will destroy your ears where the dodge can be blasted at full volume and want bother your ears or sound harsh. But one is a spl install meant to be loud and the other a sq install so that could be part of it.

Dear god don't let m5 hear you say that, he actually believes nvx is as good as any other amp, just because he believes a watt is watt, which it isnt. I knew these amps would have a terrible noise floor just because the amps there based on do. I don't care what anyone says a better quality amp does make a difference if nothing else just from more clean power.

And I'm not bad mouthing the evil either hell it was my first choice I just didn't think I could run enough wattage to do it justice. And it's not like any of these car subs are efficient any ways they all need a shit ton of power to reach there full potential. Also the DC 2k is rated at 90% efficient so I should be good with a stock alt and a battery bank at 4ohm for break in.

Wrong again! The lvl 4 12" has the same efficiency as the evil 15" and since there is no efficiency rating for the 12" yet I can only assume it will be less then the 15's 86.5spl/1watt which just happens to be the exact same as the lvl 4 12".

Couple of sound Quebec 10's would work great on a sound Quebec 1200 amp and there cheap. 2 10's will give you more room to push it as 2 coils can take more then one but will cost more.
