  1. everyone says that sub up port back works the best on those stile of vehicles but idk since i have never experience anything else than mine from port up and subs up
  2. this dudes 18s bls move more air than my 18s btls, those aero ports are probly better that square ports oh yea i messeged that dude in that video a while back and he said he has 10" aero ports but i forgot how long they were you should really make a bigger box too. since my box is the same size as yours and my bls didnt move as much either. i just someone to help me do the cut sheet or tell me if im ok with using 2 ports from 8" to 10" and a 18cf box with out displacement then after displacement to be around 15 or 16cf and would to much port area would make the subs cone "move everywhere"
  3. bump any one i was thinking something like this but port up and subs up
  4. careful here its a 1500 rms amp and a 1900rms amp but idk what quality brand it is so
  5. name of amps ?? whats your budget on amp ?

  9. hey how you been bro so finally you got your AQ's beating hard and nice on sundown i wish i had bought an saz3k
  10. hello guys im going to start my new box and this time im building it my self . anyone who has work on some FI bl's not sure if the size matters but mine are 18" and im looking to have them to reach their limit using less power so going with a bigger box instead of smaller box with more power . my dimensions are w58"L24"H26" these are the outside measurements. im thinking of using two sonotubes either 8" to 10" because their 8" ones are more like 8.5" or 9". so i have to get back at you guys with the tunning of the box which i wanted to be 30hz sub up port up so if someone has time to make me a design i will appreciate it. i don't want something crazy just 45's and brazing.
  11. once when i was going home my truck heat up bad so i decided to hit 90mph and turn off the ignition lol idk if it help but the engine didnt turn back on from been over heated and shifting down helps alot
  12. i have no back seats but the was behind the front seats under the box showing half of the amp so air could flow
  13. yes that is my next idea i already bought the alarm and im just waiting for it to arrive. bought and hu for 60 bucks again and im going to make my box 18cf without displacement so im making a new box oh and yes im keeping the 18's no way im letting them go unless i run stronger amps and subs
  14. so would this setup will work but with external port 5 or 6"height with 54"long 5 or 6 "length
  15. your right like i said earlier i would assume i would only like air and not output i would like to be loud while been able to move lots of air. To move air you have to be tune to 30hz or so thats what i understood. so my box is 15.6cf with only the box no port or subs. I would like to keep it at 15cf and make an external port in the bottom and i can only have the subs pointing up. would that be a good idea or is it possible to make 8" pvc pipes to make a 90 degree angle
  16. i cant go sealed since i have bl's
  17. Recently someone broke into my truck so i took out everything except the wiring. so i have my box out and i have never been to do a air trick with the 2 18" bl's in the silverado ext cab . so my question is what can i do to improve the box. my goal is to move lots of air and im not into the numbers TL. my box is 55X24X24 there outside measurements with no 45s nor nothing just simple with port on the side if i remember correctly its tune to 32htz with 205 of port area would making pvc ports help alot or what can i do ? here is a pic of the box PIC OF BOX
  18. That sucks dude! C'mon man, in San Antonio you GOT to have an alarm of some kind! At least your amp/subs are OK though... well there is one but it stop working a while ago and yeah thats on the list now

  20. well last night some guy who need it money bad decided to break my driver side window and take my stereo "it cost me 60 bucks" oh well. so im taking everything else out. which i dont get why some not very smart guy takes a stereo where behind the darn seat there is a huge amp and well the subs there is no way he can get them out and he didnt care about them since there is no holes in them lol. so im rebuilding sometime soon .
