As long as you get one with at least a 250 amp rating you should be fine. However make sure it puts out a nice amount at ideal

Does any one of the manufactures have a 'official' youtube channel, Sundown, DC, Fi, Kicker, etc? If so whats the channel name, and if not I think it'll be a great idea. Since a huge following is on the net and such. I mean you could do burps, walk out how to tune stuff, show new products and everything else. Fusing should hold on a 3000d . What ohm load do you have the amp running at and what type of fuseblock are you running? it's at 1 ohm on 2 12s (HDC3s)

Okay here is my somewhat problem. I have a 3000D with a Bass knob and I am trying to figure out how to get this Gain Knob set right. Now I have my gain set, and everything right on my deck, my thing is when I plug in the Knob do I set it to minimum or Max, or do I set the Gain and deck with the Knob already plugged into the amp? I am trying to get it where I can just turn the knob to turn up the gain instead of the deck, which is a pain in the ass. Because as of right now when I turn up the Knob it reaches it full potential at about half instead of max, so I really cant get it to where I want it with that small of a range. So am I doing this sh*t right or what. Thanks Enellz

I think two 275 amp alternators is a little too much. One should do, and with batteries, and the Big 3 upgrade. But what you stated is fine. Where are you located, maybe someone local can troubleshoot for you

What does your volt meter usually read. Also have you checked the grounds?

I never really blasted at a stop light. I know some people dont like it, so I try not to be a jerk about. However when people is blowing their sh*t loud, and it sounds like more rattle than bass, than of course I might turn it up. Mine sounds good, so with the the bass line I them aim for this. lol. Lately though in Louisville, especially in the Shively neighborhood, I've seen alot of sundown stickers and such. Make me wonder what they have...

I would go with what Jacob recommends. However I wouldnt go no lower than a 250 amp fuse. But good electric always plays a part

get a 1500D, maybe a 2000D if you mess with the settings and tune the gain right and such. Im sure they can take their power, so be careful, Sundown are underrated some, not much, but some.

I wouldnt recommend it. Youll void the warrenty, but it can be done. However you better have get electric to back it up. .5 ohms daily is not easy.

Where is your amp currently, and how much room between the box and that back seat?

There a huge boner over the net. Good quality subs, check out some builds and stuff. One of the better subs on the market.

I've heard some people have run it a 1 ohm before, but its is highly not recommended. But if you do try it, dont dare do it with out good electric, and I mean good, not decent. I'll just sale it IMO and buy something elese
