  1. I like it, maybe change the logo up some
  2. Wow, love the sundown sticker eh? lol, looks good.
  3. hmmmm maybe tax season. I dunno though, that might be a little too much current draw, plus I dunno if my AQ's could take 4.5K daily
  4. Awww, well as long as you keep a 3K watt amp I'm cool. I just dont need 4K, thats too much for me. Maybe..... As long as my lady doesnt find out...lol
  5. Ok wait.....So your coming out with a 4500D. So your going to keep the 3500D in production right?
  6. I like the fitted hat idea, and maybe have the teams name on the side in cursive. That'll be cool. But please dont make it a grandpas hat lol
  7. As long as you don't blast your music at idiotic levels for a long time you'll be fine. But 6K for daily, oh wee that's alot of power.
  8. I say the one 3500, I just dont like the idea of two amps. Too much of a foot print IMO.
  9. x2, now I gotta start the process all over...
  10. Isnt the 10w3 their SQ line? I would think it would be more comparable to the Q if so, but dont get me wrong. I had to SSD's running off a ZX1500.1, and it pounding and sounded amazing in the process. But like stated above what is he looking for in a driver?

I mean each subwoofer is different for different applications. However Im sure the SSD would be fine, or the Q. Since your look for 'SQ' also I'd rule the BL out.
  12. I love my AQs, never had a problem with them. I have mine at about 3.8 cubic feet before displacement. I have it tuned to 36hz. I wouldve tuned higher but I'm actually nervous to do so. But over all good heavy as hell, subwoofer.
  13. True JL amps are good, efficient amps. That would work though, I just wouldn't want to hassle with two amps. Just my 2 cents
  14. Well I'm looking to get two of whichever sub I go with, because I'm looking to double my power to around 2000rms sometime in the future. I can fit two 15 Q's sealed. I can fit two 12 inch Bl's ported. Which would you do? Two 15 Q's sealed or two 12 bl's ported? Looking to get the low, feel it in ur chest, notes. I would get the Q's, since your coming from the JL and looking for accuracy. However, two Q's would laugh at 1k worth of power. If your looking to impress, get at least 2k worth of power. Also in my opinion, I would get D1 subs, not D2, regardless of the JL amp. (reason why I say this is because I believe it only drops down to 1.5 ohms) But looking for high power 1K and up, for a 2ohm final load is hard.
  15. I google'd your car for some HO alternators and it isnt pretty. I seen a 165a on ebay for almost 350. Try mechman, or somewhere and get a quote. If not buy the battery.
  16. You could get by, but 'getting by', wouldnt be the greatest idea. You could hook it up and run with it, with your current electric, but you'll be dipping into low voltage on bass notes at idle. If I were you I would: (A): Add a back battery, HC2000, 1400, Powermaster, Deka, etc. (B): Get a new alternator I would choose 'B', just to get the alternator and get it out the way for future builds. 'A' would work just as fine, but when you start adding batteries you start adding weight. The less weight the better. Either one is fine for just 1500rms.
  17. I have mine next to my Battery. About 5 or so inches away
  18. I think your reaching a very picky subject. I think this is a great way to get new consumers in, but there are so many d*ckheads out there. I think this should be temp, or something just involving sundown amps. However its great for someone who cant usually just 'afford' Sundown, but I just hope it doesnt flood the market with amps. In that sense a good example is the 2500.1, however good amps, but are so d*mn cheap its hard for people to get sometimes half their resale value. Especially if they buy retail, or a d*mn shop.

    x2 on the AQ

What coil configuration did you get Dual 1 or Dual 2? Also their rated at 1000rms but could do a little extra due to them being underrated. IMO you have about 2500rms to play with safely. I cant recommend you anything without knowing what ohms they are. Edit: 1000 bucks for the amp? You have a huge selection to choose from, and since you have a 1 ohm final load you could look for an amp that does about 2000-2500rms at 1 ohm. If you wait a tad longer you could get the new SAZ2000D coming out. But if it was me I would get a 3000D since their going for cheap right now, just but gentle on the setting and set it with a DMM and you will be fine.
  21. first the 3500, now this. Looks good. I'm waiting on that 3000rms 12 sub jacob....hint hint.
  22. if your only going to do 800rms to the sub I say either. if your talking 1200rms and up then I would look into those subs
