Dang.. i been waiting to buy the 15" BLs since before they took the old ones down but its def worth the wait. Cant wait to order 2 of these bad boys!
  2. not necessarily.....you tell them what options you want for the subs....fisher builds the box and sends it to you and fi sends you your subs. or they could just have the option of fully loaded or "stock"....there are lots of ways they could do it. the icon loaded enclsosure isnt "loaded" when it gets to your door. they are shipped seperately. so it would work the exact same way. There is actually a couple different ways to attack something like this. I have a few ideas in mind...
  3. I would say the Q

Cool. Ill def be tuned in to see whats in store
  5. Is the JL Audio A4300 amp a good match with 4 Infinity Reference 6822cf speakers? I got the speakers for free and just wanted a good cheap amp to power them to their full potential. Also is there something else you would recommend for these speakers instead? Specs Speakers: RMS - 2-60 watts Peak - 180 watts Impedance - 2Ohms Amp: RMS Power @ 4 Ohm: 70 watts x 4 at 14.4 volts *RMS Power @ 2 Ohm: 110 watts x 4 at 14.4 volts <<This setup? RMS Power @ 4 Ohm: 45 watts x 4 at 12.5 volts RMS Power @ 2 Ohm: 75 watts x 4 at 12.5 volts RMS Power @ 4 Ohm: 220 watts x 2 at 14.4 volts RMS Power @ 4 Ohm: 150 watts x 2 at 12.5 volts
  6. I have the JVC KW-NX7000 and its one of the best you can buy. 7" face, built in navigation (dont have to buy a $200 extra piece like Pioneer & Alpine), sounds great, has the best graphics, detachable face. Plus its the cheapest out of all the brand name navi systems. There are cons but the dont affect me - No bluetooth built in (extra piece) and there is no harddrive but you can put in a mem card. I would also buy the Pioneer AVBIC series but they are more expensive THE JVC with all the same stuff. IMO Kenwood/Alpine is too expensive for no reason. Dual/Panasonic/Eclipse are ok but they graphics arent good and are lacking in some features.

For everything you have listed I would say the 1D with 2.5cuft. I like bigger boxes and less power but some like more power and a little smaller box.

Im very interested on seeing what this what 3 BTLS in a MC looks and sounds like... Especially on 9000+ watts of power! WAITING... :bigclap:
  11. I would say BLs just like everyone else
  12. That would def work. But if you wanted to do that then i would just say get two btls but thats up to you
  13. Thanks. Thats what I was thinking. And you lose power handling capability at the same time. ie don't take it too far. I was. I only have a Sundown 1500 because of that.
  14. Thanks. Thats what I was thinking.
  15. It's all box dependent. Build on the larger side and tune a tad lower. Thanks ///M5 on the comments. I did some research on the Qs & Bls but got the whole "lows" concept miscontrued. I should have gone with the BL but thats life. Atleast when i get them I can compare them for others. I have them in a 8cuft box at 32hz. If i swapped out the Qs for the BLs would it hit the lows better than in a smaller box? I would think the lows in a bigger box were better.
  16. I would say almost 30hz is low. From what yall are saying, when they were saying lows, they didnt mean rap lows & the lows in rap arent considered "lows". I got the Qs because they could play those lows thinking the lows are what i hear on a regular basis. I also got em cause theey could sell easily and I could get the BLs if I wasnt happy. Plus there are the new BLs now. Time to sell. How low does a BL get?
  17. Hard to find rap that plays below 30hz. Im running my bl in 8cuft tuned to 32hz and it dominates any rap I throw at it. I haven't heard a q so I can't make a comparison though. How are the lows?
  18. I listen to rap. But he lows arent as good on the BLs so that why i went with the Qs and made the box big.
  19. Yea its actually PERFECT but I was just bored ans was just wondering if there was anything I could do like a different tuning. I just dont know what I higher tuning would sound like.
  20. They are the 15s. Right now I have them in a 8cuft box.
  21. It was a long debate between that and the BL but I like the lows of the Q. What audible difference would tuning it to 34hz make beside being louder?
  22. The SQ of the Qs are great but I want to know want the size and specs of a box that would maximize the dbs on daily music. I would think that the max ported box specs at 32hz would do that but would a smaller box be louder? And I know its "install dependent" but just want to see what others say.

For one BL I would go with the 1000 or 1200 at the most... Personally I think he should be trying to get another BL if he wants 2000 watts.
  24. What are all of the different kit types? "H1/H3/H4/H6/H7/H8/H9/H10/H11/H13/9004/9005/9006/9007/880/881/D2/D1"? How do you know which one to get?
