hey everyone, I was wondering if its possible to change the positive & negative terminals on a sub? I have JBL GT5s I'm using but it seems the terminals on the subs are very flimsy. Is there any way to change them to something a little more heavy duty or easier and more steardy to use? If so, can someone point me in the right direction on how to go about changing them? Thanks! I'm not too knowledgeable on those components that you posted. A good suggestion would be a pair of Phoenix Gold RDS65s. I have 2 sets of these in my car and couldn't be happier. The tweeters dont play harshly and they have decent midbass. The price is austonishing for the sound quality that comes out of these speakers. I'd recommend these to anyone thats on a budget for highs. Andrew

your going to have to look into wether or not they make rated power via someone testing that amp... i also hope your friend has cash to back up 4k rms electrically.. usuallly if you see someone talking about that kind of power they dont cut corners on the amp (assuming the amp is overrated...) its going to be his winter project....he has 3 HC2400s in the trunk + a 220amp alternator.... I've been digging up on this amp and cant seem to find many people talking about it

hey everybody, a buddy of mine is looking for a decent/good quality amp to use for his daily driver. Hes running 2 Kicker CVX 15s, looking for around 4000wrms. He found a Powerbass that can do 4000wrms @ 1 ohm... just looking for some general feedback on these amps performance wise...do they put out what they say they do? Are they reliable amps? etc etc Thanks!

will do... i called a local Stetsom dealer (in canada...not so local though) and it took them 4 days to get back to me about a price...so as for customer service / tech support...not sure how reliable they can be. and as for the Sundown, I believe the MSRP on the 4500D will be way above the price of the Stetsom but I'll call tomorrow and confirm

so at the end of the day, the Sundown is the best bang for the buck even though at the end of the day it will be more expensive?

bt at the same time, the sundown is 4500wrms while the stetsom is rated at 5000wrms+ and the sundown is 1100US + shipping + duties/custom fees...so inthe end, thesundown will end up being more expensive

I wouldn't be using the 14K Stetsom amp, I just wanted input on Stetsom amps in general... I'm debating on getting the 5K Stetsom amp to run 2 AA Mayhem's, I'd be using it for daily & only a couple of comps here and there...

I messaged BeeJay25 on youtube, the guy playing the 4 Warden's off of the 2 Stetsom 14K amps. He said the Stetsom plays great with music and that he hasn't had any problems playing music.
