12's or 10's
I really enjoyed the 15 BL's they were bad ass. But I have a friend from micronesia who wanted to buy them off me with the box and hook up his suv. I have really been into rock lately because rap is just turning to garbage. But every now and then I like to throw on some old stuff and bam it. I was thinking of of some *cons or Q's I don't really understand what you mean by choose the ones that are most optimized by your car. Yea, I'm still up in the air about wether to go with ported or sealed. What do you mean about power compression? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to understand it better.

12's or 10's
I have decided to nix the 10's and either go with 2 12's or a 15. I sold the other 15 to my friend, he wanted to match them after he got the first one. My question now would be which should theoretically sound louder. I would think the 2 12's since you have more surface area but the power will be split so they will only be getting around 600 rms each. Or a single 15 with the 1000rms. My budget right now is around 800. I have an sae-1200 for an amp at this time. And the largest ported box I get in the trunk due to the trunk opening was 5 cubes after displacement. Thanks Josh

12's or 10's
I think I am going to hold on to the 15 and put it into my explorer. I was thinking 2 12's myself originally, I always just get carried away though. This will be put in my Mazda 6, the largest box I can get to fit is 6 cubes. So I should have plenty of room for 2 12's. Which ones would you suggest. I have really switched over to listening to more Rock than rap now but I still like to throw on some rap and bam it.

12's or 10's
Hey Everyone, I am switching from my 15 BL to either 12's or 10's. I love the 15's but I sold one to a friend and am trying to sell another one that I never even used NIB. Anyway, I was thinking of doing 2 or 3 12's or maybe even 4 10's. I just have not really made up my mind yet. I have not had either and I was wondering which you guys prefer. If you were going to make a system and had either choice what would you choose and why. Also what brand would you go with, I'm looking for good loud subs that stay tight and keep there quality. For now they will be on a SAE-1200 but I plan on moving to a 2000 in the future when I upgrade my electrical further. Basically just looking to discuss on this and look for some ideas. Thanks, Josh

1000 or 1200 for daily
sorry for the lack of information. I was at class when I first posted. I have 2 15 Fi BL's ,DVC,1 ohm IIRC ... I just want to hook both of them up to one amp @ 1ohm. I know they can handle more, but I got jacked a couple months ago and need a good buy. Mainly I just want the most reliable for a daily. I hope this information helps, If I need to put more just let me know. Josh

Fiberglassing Material
Hey guys, I'm goin g to try and build a glassed back dash to hold my mids. I was wondering if someone could give me any tips and mainly what I will need to do this. I've heard fleece, resin, and hardener. But which ressin and Hardner should I get? If I use wood to build the base should I use like 1/4 inch mdf or does it matter. Anyway, I wanted to get some of the materials today so anything will help. I'm going to look for a jasper jig so I will be back. Josh

advice on amp ventilation
Hey Jacob, I am looking to make an amp rack in the wheel well and I will be putting 3 amps in it, the 1200D, 100.4 and 125.2 for now.. I was wondering if I do this will I need to add a fan or anything? or do you think it would be better to make an amp rack on the top of the trunk? Perhaps even on the Box if I have room? just wondering what you think I would need if I am forced to go with the wheel well, just don't want them to run hot due to insufficient ventilation. Thx Josh BTW Those amps are quite beefy and look great!

Glassin For Dummy's
Hey guys, I am gonna start a few projects and try and glass a few things, I want to put 2 8's on my rear deck and something upfront to put the tweets on the dash. I can't put them in the A-Pillars so I was going to put them in the corners of the dash and I want them to look clean. I was wondering what kind of resin and bonding agent? I think you mix the resin and something else before you put it on the fabric, I read about it a while ago and I will go over it again because I don't remember much. Just thought some of you guys would have some tips on how to do this... I've got some pretty good ideas to actually design it but I will touch back to see if it is plausible... Thx Josh Sorry if this is hard to read or I've written it like a DA... I have been, and still am working on my Finals esays that is due by 6:00 in the morning.

Sound Check Hanks 59.9 bassrace build
2000LaDe, Did you invert 6 subs for the look or does it do something sound wise? I never really understood what the difference was, I was told it had to do with looks/space... Could you enlighten me on that? Amazing build by the way, very clean! Josh

Wiring My BL
I thought I read somewhere that you had your BL's wired down to .5 Ohm. Maybe I was thinkin of someone else..
-
Not positive on what to get
Yea I would say a couple of runs of 0 gauge
-
Not positive on what to get
If you are really wanting to go with BTL's and 2 3000's .. You need to look at your budget for electrical and wiring and dampening if you want it and 4 18's would be even better!!! It all depends on if you want 2 15's or 2 18's, either way they are going to be intense!
-
Not positive on what to get
YuP... Especially if you are gonna strap 2 3000D's ... Those things are beasts!!
