I have tons of woofers I can recommend, but you're using way too much power for all of them...frankly, most people that are using small box, sealed woofers have no use for 1.5kW. There's no general favorite, it comes down to what your budget is... Given no budget, I would gravitate towards Focal Utopias and Aura NS15.4's, but that might not be in your price range

The problem is that there's no easy designing for a TL. It's not a matter of you just build it and everything's all hunky-dory...there's often times a lot of tuning and tweaking that goes on afterwards. Besides, Martin King's MATHCAD worksheets already do this, and countless people have had good luck with those as a start

Dude Get the Q Right now I have A BTL. I am switching to SSD w/ copper coils 418s. The Q was seriously considered. You do NOT prefer SPL. You prefer to listen to music. at 800 and 1000 watts respectively neither the Q nor the SSD are soft by any means. PLEASE LISTEN get the Q. I am telling you what to do w/ your money. (going out on a limb) You will have a woofer that is BEYOND what you are expecting in SPL and SQ. Does this answer your question. I am going to put one more in there for you. Find a Realistic sub by Radio Shack! or buy the Q. TRUST ME I wouldn't steer you wrong. If the Q is not what you expect then you are going to need to buy some extra batteries. Don't know how else to tell you!!! SPL guys have extra batteries. You do not what to even upgrade your battery. You are not even a 1/10 close to caring about SPL as far as the people on here that are into SPL. You have read to deep into things. Really tempted to write on the exam tomorrow that IE and any video technology built into it is an utter piece of shit and that if you want us to be able to complete the assignment, use something that works instead. Regular streaming video that's playable on FF or even a downloadable movie file would have been infinitely easier.
