The power adapter on the Dell laptop went out, again. The center pin in the coaxial DC connector broke off completely. Not to mention the cables were already starting to wear through the strain reliefs...just a shitty design.

How much do you have to spend? Where are these going, stock locations or otherwise? What are your preferences in sound, do you know if you like silk tweets vs. metal domes, etc...

Found some good deals on some '68 Honda CL77's, not enough fuel capacity for me though I wouldn't mind finding the CB77 version though, or a late '60s CB450...I don't know why Honda totally abandoned the look of those in the '70s, they got uglier

I'll disagree with that, but I have to go now so it'll wait until later Edit: As long as the surrounds stay away from lots of direct UV, you'd be amazed at how long speakers can last and still be very playable condition. I have a friend that has a pair of Altec cabinets with 2 15" midbasses, they were made in the early '50s...other than one hole in a surround due to a mouse that was living in one of the cabinets, they all worked

yeah thats what im worried about......... but i have been wanting a new car or truck anyway..... its just with the way shit is now days... im not tryin to drop money in bulk ...... payin cash for cars is nice when its sunny outside..... but i see a storm ahead I'd rather pay cash now vs. any kind of liability the way the economy is now.
