Why do some people have a pucking chronic need to walk REALLY SLOWLY down a sidewalk? I think it's the same kind of people who stop right in the middle of an aisle when shopping, nevermind that there's a whole flow of traffic thing going on behind them.
Now I realize why I didn't go back on Audiokarma.org. I guess I'm living vicariously for liking college sports...and for not agreeing that all collegiate athletes are felons or felons-in-training...

From a homebrewer's point of view, I thought the Eimac 340TL 200W Class A monoblocks are something technically challenging...get a chance to hear those? BTW, some of those horn setups are more affordable than you may think. The Oris front horns from the Netherlands are under a grand...
May I ask why you're going with sealed when you listen to rap? I mean, I'm not complaining, it'll sound better but I'm curious why you're not going the typical peaky-and-boomy way everyone else does.

Linksys makes a network attached enclosure I've been looking at...space for 2 SATA drives, RAID capable...seems like a better way once you get up in that range.

For six amps I'd definitely look into using a relay. Remote turn-on circuits are not that powerful, I'd much rather spend a couple bucks on a relay and socket than mess with the PCB on the head unit or have to send it out for repair...
What's funny is that Altec 515's are over a 30-year old design, no high excursion or large-motored anything...environment > woofer

Does anyone know a good source for paint? I don't need amazing-quality stuff, just as good as what came OEM...can't imagine that paint for one door is going to cost too much.
Looks like one of the local junkyards has a door in perfect shape for $500ish, and I found a headlight on Ebay for $200...goal of under $1000 is still intact
