Who cares what corporate backed sponsorships have done? I certainly wouldn't be impressed with a line of amps if someone told me they've won X number of DbDrag finals, or IASCA SQ championships, etc...I'd want to hear that user's install and let my ears decide But if you want competition info, Termpro would be the logical place to go, at least for SPL...

You can strive for both, but you're going to compromise on both ends of the spectrum to meet somewhere in the middle. The term also implies that SQ setups have no output potential - which is obviously false. Just IMHO.
