The first time he got booted, it was because he hadn't paid the advertising fee to Josh for keeping the forum up...in two months. He apparently got that paid for, and hasn't replied to any questions or been active in there at all - so it's been taken down and replaced by another company. Like it was said in there, Kyle Richardson of Acoustic Visions, David from RE and of course MC Wiggles somehow find the time to log in every couple days or more often and answer questions from customers. Chad basically said that it's not worth the minimal amount of time and to use the phone for any inquiries. Considering he's an *internet* based company with no brick & mortar dealership network, I don't see the point of losing your online presence...

Oh, and speaking about inter-forum drama, Ascendant's pwning over on CSO/SIN and the resulting "news item" on their page was absolutely hilarious. "We have decided to shut down the forums"...yes, you have decided. Joshie-poo llama stomped your ass and you decided to like it.

Phatillusion disappointed me; he said he had gotten the rest of the moderation staff to organize a walkout a couple of days ago - I have yet to see that happen. That's what the site really needs, the entire mod team to leave for a few weeks or so - hell, just one week would be enough. Make Goob do everything to his beloved little forum. Anyone have any suggestions for some really cheap-ass 12" drivers? Like...really cheap. Thinking about getting a pair, putting them in the spare 12" 29Hz ported enclosure I have back in Carolina and building a port plug to make it a temporary fartbox.

Got an 88 on that ACIS test this morning...chit cock balls, I would have liked at least an A- on that. Oh well, there's always the final - I'd really like to get an A in this class.

ACIS exam was a little trickier than I thought - just the way the questions were worded was odd. Still have a paper to write for philosophy today, and study for the soc. exam - of which I know about half of what I need to know for it right now

IT would SO PWN me. I really don't know how I get through the day with computers. I suck at them so much. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know the basics, but I haven't kept up with the technology at all...if someone says "n00b, I've got a 347247GB DDR SDRAM with Duo Core blahblahblah" I'm like... The last time I built a computer, clock speeds hadn't broken 1GHz, video accelerators were optional and your only choice in RAM styles was between SIMMs and DIMMs I guess I stopped keeping up with it because it moves so damn fast...no real point in always trying to have the fastest machine if the latest and greatest change every six months.

I don't mind political discussion here, at least we're all mature enough to actually have a discussion...can't say that about everywhere online...wink wink nudge nudge Dammit, I actually need to get back to studying. This IS exam is pathetically easy, but if I get owned on it I'll feel like an idiot. Basic networking, computer hardware, Excel functions. Well, more of an idiot than I am now.

Not sure if I would completely agree with that... I don't have a problem with immigration, I have a problem with people that think they can use the US as a cheap base of operations to make money, learn nothing of the culture, nothing of the language, but still expect to get benefits that citizens get. Doesn't work both ways. I realize the naturalization process has gotten long and involved, but at least try in the interim...staying under the radar does society absolutely no good, and we shouldn't have to deal with it - especially not with public money.
