The Benz has a front stage now The two Orions per door have midbass like woah...needs a lot of tuning and vinyl cosmetic chit, but the grunt work is basically done for the cabin. The pictures will probably tell a better story... The van has a front stage again as well...I got the speakers mounted on the acrylic baffles and everything sounds decent for now. The big test is going to come Tuesday or whenever I get around to putting the door panels back on and seeing if I get that extra 1/8" or so that I needed.

I got my acrylic pieces marked out for the baffles...so before lunch my goal is to get them cut and drilled into the door panel. If the WX holds out.

I have a pretty esay schedule this semester, it's just things like Public Speaking that annoy the crap out of me...I worry about that way too much. Intro to IS is pathetically easy, though. It worries me about the test - we've spent the last two weeks covering what the difference between a virus, worm, and Trojan Horse is. But people say the teacher is a Succubus, but I don't see it yet...

M5, I ran into problems today with the baffles...turns out there's barely enough room for anything behnd the door panel. So what I'm going to do is install 3/4" MDF baffles on the doors, and cut the interior door panels to fit. I'll build out a new grill out of MDF and black grill cloth to make it look somewhat integrated. I didn't want to go with 1/4" MDF to screw the drivers into, so it needs to come out. Pics of the first part are coming this weekend.

I'll be there early...whoever's not working on Aaron's project can help me work on mine - getting my speakers mounted with enough clearance... grrrrr

Pretty much. Those doors are deceiving...plenty of clearance behind the panel to the window, but almost no clearance in the front. I'm having to sand and shave the MDF baffles down to reallly tight tolerances to get the speakers not to hit the front panel. That's my project for tomorrow when I'm not catching up with a week's worth of work

Hate to disappoint you...I have my hair cut, so I actually look somewhat civilized again.
