Depends on the environment it's in In a large vehicle or at home, an 18" or two is a very good option provided it's up to the task.

Not really... If features-wise they come down about even, I would try to find an example of each and see which one you like using more. I always thought the user interface of Eclipse was more confusing, although functionally they can be top-notch. Just might take more getting used to if you're used to a specific interface.
