Dorm Room System
Yup, me too..only this time, I have an apartment for all my chit Depends on the campus and surrounding area...I know here at Tech, having a vehicle was really useful (as most of the shopping places weren't within walking distance), but having a residential parking permit was a major PITA. Parking close to the dorm was a game of cat-and-mouse with the parking nazi's. Now that I'm living off campus and commuting, the situation is a lot better...

The gent who bought my Decware Zen lived in BC...didn't have too much of a problem sending it to him. Like always, insured it against damage and sent it on its way.

The FR125's are out of stock, for now anyway... but the WR125 paired with a silk tweet would kick ass. Exodus Audio sells kits of two-way monitors like that, could be an option.

ISUX is still useful for some things even if I only check out the home audio section...

Box keeps sliding?
I used the black open-cell foam stuff they sell at Lowe's to line toolboxes (and sold at Wal-Mart and places like that to line kitchen shelves and drawers). Since my box was sliding around on a rubber mat, having the foam provided enough friction to stop it from sliding ten feet forward when I hit the brakes.

http://www.icixsound.com/vb/showthread.php?t=14839 'Twas an article about building satellites with 4" mids. Links to a Parts Express project, scroll down for pics. Madisound's Sledgling kit comes to mind, though it's about double your $100 budget http://madisound.com/sled.html I can't really offer any advice from personal experience on small speakers, because I was running mondo-huge 3way monitors, and loved it The advantage of that is you control what gets played on your side of the hall...and you hope everyone in your listening area likes the same thing you do

What blades do you have for the circ? That might not have been a bad choice, if you had a fine-toothed blade for it (not a ripping blade).

Welcome to the IHoP
I've used my scroll saw, with a very fine blade, to handle most PVC work that I've needed...for bigger stuff, I've used a Sawzall for the rough cuts, and sanded down closer if I needed it exact.

Welcome to the IHoP
What were you using to cut it? I've never had a problem with cutting PVC...

Have you poked around with a DMM? or is it a cold solder joint...

The "Team SSAudio.com" part seems a little plain...maybe adding a drop shadow, bringing out the color more or bevelling it somehow would bring it out. I like it though

SMD or regular? You don't know the meaning of self-inflicted torture until you try to solder surface mount components...
