You mean two RL-i's up front for midbass? Or a single driver? Splitting the subbass region into two drivers in mono is a bad idea...

You're being very realistic

Part of it has to do with where you look, too You're not going to see many of them on ROE or CA.com because they aren't a bassheads' enclosure...on somewhere like DIYMA, ECA or even here you'd probably see more of them.

Yup. Svetlana SV811-10 triodes, single ended, RCA 6EM7 drivers. 8 watts @ 8 ohms.

So then you have to invest more in wire and current transmission to get the equivalent power...no free lunches.

What would be the biggest difference between the two? They're very different in design...the W7 has much more output potential and power handling ability, but I'm not a fan of how it sounds...regardless of price. Price doesn't come into my thoughts of it at all, it's cheap compared to some drivers out there.

The W6v2's are some of my favorite subs. I don't like the W7's.
