Don't get hung up on the individual products so much, firm up your budget and then look at what's in that price range. Then start looking at the kind of installs that have worked for your vehicle...and look at drivers that might do well in those kinds of installs.

With an Fs of 700Hz, 1.2k is a bit low. Are you putting them off-axis or on? You might be able to get away with 1.8, but remember, your slope needs to increase as you go lower in Xover points or power handling is going to go down, a lot...

Well, in terms of an audio system, if the doors flap like a hummingbird with the slightest amount of midbass and the noise floor is horrendous, there isn't much point in adding any extra money in it to begin with

A lot of SQ installs do end up spending that much just on deadening products. Considering what they do, though, it's worth it. Now, whether you need things that deadened depends on your use and how picky you are
