the cadence coaxials I bought are actually a few models above the cadence comps i linked to, so they should be a better speaker it is just a matter of whether comps are that much better. Besides, I really did not feel like installing comps. I would either have to cut a hole for the twet or do it in this impossible to reach spot.

I heard my friends infinity comps this morning and they were waaaaaaaay too bright for me. They werent the 6002i's but I decided I'd rather not risk it with anything infinty. i just bought these http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 They look pretty decent and I've heard good things about cadence. For the price, Im not expecting too much but Ill let you guys know how they sound when i get them in.

my friend who works at a warehouse that sells Cadence says those are older and a lower line than what i have <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i cant seem to find much on them. All i know so far is that theyre older and had an msrp of 250 or so. How do you like oyur cadence's?

what do you guys know about cadence comps? Theres a bunch going for 69 + 10 ship on ebay. They look very nice and I know cadence has a solid rep. I'd probly man up and get an amp if they are decent comps but who knows.

not that i know of. I am going to try tweeter, newport autosound, al and ed's, and then theres probably 3 or 4 more i cant remember.

I though about that and i am going to try and find a shop on monday that has the infinity's so that i can hear them. I know I wont be able to find the cdt's though. I guess if I like the infinity's ill go with them and if i dont like them ill go with the cdt'. Hopefully I can find them.

I agree with you, but on something like spealers I just want to make sure I'm getting something I will really like the sound of.

i dont care much about th warranty. I am really jus wondering if I should go witht he infinty's or the cl-6x's.

i just spoke with djdilliodon on aim aout the cl-6x speakers and from what hes said they seem pretty nice. He said they would probably have a more natural sound and be less harsh than the infinities which is pretty important to me. Which of the two would you go with? infinity's for 50 shipped or cl-6x for 55 shipped wit warranty?

if i get a 5er ill probably get a white one and try to make it look like the one above. I love the all white slammed on 19's.

I hope so. I had really planned on getting some awesome comps, but then I started looking at some pics of 5 series and deicided to save up for the car first then get whatever I want. I mean, how could you choose otherwise?

yeah. my stocks are 6.5" So i shouldnt have to do any modifications.

I'll have to look into those. Do you think that my 16w or so will be enough to at least make them sound decent? I am also consideirng the cdt cl-6x which is a little more. Has anyone heard either of these?

I had planned on getting the edi 6500 comps and a nine.2, but I decided at this point I should save up some money for my next car then get whatever I want. In the meantime though my stock speakers are NOT cutting it. They are the cheap stock ones that come with a 98 jeep grand cherokee. Are there any cheap coaxials that I can just run off my h/u but will still sound half decent? I just saw these powerbass ones on ebay and I'm thinking might be alright. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...5762139690&rd=1 My friend has the comp version of these which he paid 160 for (dumb*ss lol) and they are decent for the price. Any other sub $50 coaxials you can think of that will be a noticeable step up over stock?
