If your going to do bolts ( i am also) i would use copper bolts and washers if you can find them or brass.

I was thinking of getting these.... How does the bass compare do say the regular ipod ear buds? I know it will be a lot more but i can't imagine a ton of base coming from ear buds.

You can put the port inside. Many people still do. I believe more than they put them on the outside but idk. Not sure about the 2nd part of your question or your 2nd question.

4 gauge wire might be part of the problem but im not sure. Did you take the sub out and make sure your voice coils were wired right and not touching each other? Did you check your amp ground and power and make sure they were secure and not touching? Did you make sure your wires going out of the amp to the voice coils were secure and not touching?

I wouldn't get plasma but thats just me. I'm an LCD guy.

I am thinking of getting a new head unit. I really like double din monitor head units. I have seen the pioneer avics and i really like them but i don't know if i want to spend upwards of 500 on a head unit. Does anyone know of any other quality brands for head units that would have something like what im looking for? It also needs to have 2 sets of rca outputs and 1-2 sets of rca inputs including video.

Well the first 2 are only off 1 3000D and the 3rd is off 2 so i would say the 3rd would be the loudest depending on install if thats what your going for. You will need more than just 1 kinetik 2400 though to run 2 3000Ds

Project Prius Doesn't show the audio of the car in that video but it does on the full episode lol. Waste of money IMO.
