Managed to squeeze alittle more out this past weekend. Im gonna have some updates with some tweaks i plan to do here soon as my goal with this build is to break 156 on music. Overall im happy with the build and once my goal is reached i believe their is gonna be a wall build in my future. Anyways i still think a no wall score of 154.6 at 37hz on music is still really damn good.

Newest revision of the sundown 125.4 is 2 way active capable and has adjustable slope 12 or 24.

So Ive herd but i'm sure the benefit is worth it though. Im still undecided as to what method im gonna use either the 80prs, MS-8, PXA-H800, or the 3Sixty.3..... Id really like more channels than the 80prs if i ever wanted to do a 3-way setup down the road. Over all functionality and the easy of plugging in a laptop to change settings makes me lean more towards a full on processor. Thanks!! Yeah one ended up being dead but the others were so small they couldn't really keep up. Bigger is always better in the battery world lol

Why do you say the way its looking on this forum you may be wrong? More cone area and motor force i feel wins the battle any day of the week. Mind you with gobs of power that can be overcome but then you run into way to many variables. Honestly save your money and do it right the first time around. Took me awhile to build and buy all my stuff but im glad i did. No better accomplishment than seeing 8 12s sitting behind me causing mass destruction haha.

Small update. Finally took the time to run all the wire for active 2 way this weekend. Let me just say i didn't know what i was missing. Im just using the amps crossover so its not perfect yet not to its full ability's. I do believe the double din is on its way out for a pioneer prs80. Ill get pictures up this week when i get all the wiring sorted out and the amp mounted.

12v with a shit ton of reserve is the way to go in my opinion. Why have two alts one for 16 one for 12 when you could have two large ones for 12v? Why have 8 16v batteries with 50ah reserve when you could have 6 12v with 110ah reserve? For daily to competition i see no need for 16v unless its a car strictly for spl and setting records.

For 300 shipped on the motors, that's a killer deal even after recones. Just about said that if i had the cash and time id get them to hold onto at that price.

I personally would use a relay with a direct connection to the main battery or bank. Use the deck to actuate the relay.

Went to the first real show today since i got this setup. Managed a 151.5 sealed at first. I figured with the new battery bank i could add my jumpers in to run .25ohm an amp and to my surprise it got dirty lmao. Stayed pretty stable just had to watch voltage but i was able to get a 154.4 on my first try. These scores we all sealed on the windshield with music btw. I feel with some more work ill be able to do a 155 sealed and a 157 door open. Either way i got a short video with my crappy cell phone camera but its better than nothing i guess.

Well they came in and i couldn't wait to get them hooked up so this setup is temporary. Didn't bother charging them as all of them were floating at 12.9-13 so dont worry about that lol. Anyways i just got back from a 10min drive full tilt a majority of the time and it never went under 13.8 and maintained 14-14.1 most the time.

Much appreciated man its really been a long process and alot of hard work. Id gladly give you a demo if you were up my way. Found the main culprit of my voltage issue last night when i was disconnecting the rear battery bank. Soon as i took the ground off my entire car died instantly. Had a wtf moment and check the front battery.... reads 7.98v lmao. Replaced it with one of the good ones and now the cars back to charging between 14.5-15.1.

Funny you say that i was looking at the VFL-500.1 and the 750.1 lastnight. I never really hear much about them but i can honestly say what i have has always been awesome. At this point im gonna see what gains i get with the new batteries then move up from there. On a side note got the tracking number and hopefully get them before the show Sunday id like to hurt some feelings lol. Nothing like 225lbs of batteries shipped for free either lmao.
