  1. Yay. I Dibbs'd The XXX. Which Year Model Is It, Anyway? And I Wouldn't Even Think Of Using An AudioQue Product For Sound Quality, But That's Just Me, I'd Rather Have An Xcon. How Much Room Do You Have To Work With? I Also Haven't Seen Any Advantage Over Two Smaller Slot Ports Than Just One Big One, Depending On Port Placement.
  2. Most Likely A BTL If It's A Fi Sub.
  3. That Was The Stupidest Thing I Have Ever Read, Apart From My Idiot Find On Youtube. The General Public Is Full Of Uneducated Retards. Remember That. "Yea Mayne Mah Hyephonikkz Ampz Makes Shitz Go b00m!!11111!, EYe'm Da Loudestest Muhfugga In Da c-wordry!111!!"
  4. I'd Have To Sand The Back Plate To See If The Bronco Is On It, The Dustcap Is Bare. I'll Go Get It And Take Some Pics Of It.
  5. To Me, Yes. To Some Ricer Boy Who Likes Flashy LED Readouts And A Chromed Soda-Can Paperweight, No. I See No Need In Them, Whatsoever. They Cause More Harm Than Good In 99% Of Applications They Are In.
  6. Yeah, This Is One I Just Had Laying Around For A Long Time. I've Got An Old Assed Stillwater Designs (Dubbed The "Kicker", The Originator Of The Brand Name) That Was Made In 1990. It, Suprisisingly, Still Has A Very Good Suspension. The Cone Is Very Weak And Looks Prone To Folding, Though, And Has A Huge Motor For A Sub Of It's Size And Time.
  7. Have Fun Stopping Every 3 Minutes And Recharging Your Auxillary Battery For 2 Hours, Then. And There Is No "Good" Battery For These Kind Of Applications For $60, My Damn Motorcycle And Four Wheeler Batteries Cost More Than That.
  8. Sounds Like To Me You Don't Even Deserve That Damn BL. You Don't Have A Damn Clue What You're Doing, And That's The Truth.
  9. As Much As I Love Fi, I Think An Exodus Maelstom-X 18" Would Do Better. http://www.diycable.com/main/product_info....products_id=681 <-- If You Have The Money. But A Q Will Do Fantastic, It Will Also Be Louder. I've Got My 18" Q In A 13.5 Cube Box Tuned To 22hz In My Closet, All I Can Say Is DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN.
  10. I Don't Know Out Of All Those, If I Had To Guess Either The DD's Or The Focals. Only Comp Sets I Ever Ran Were Rainbow, When I Get To That Stage At My SQ Car I'm Either Going With Them Again Or Hybrid Audio Technologies. But The 2 12" Eminence Delta Pros And Selenium ST350's Don't Sound Bad At All, And They....Are QUITE Loud.
  11. ...There's Something Called A Gain Knob And A DMM. Just Because It's Rated At That Power Doesn't Mean That's All You Can Make It Put Out, It's Variable.
  12. Don't Know If That Helps.
  13. I'll Take The XXX Of Your Hands.
  14. ....Why Do You Need A Cap? Throw It In A Dumpster And Light It On Fire, That's All They're Good For.
  15. I'd Rather Just Get A Powermaster D2700 And A Good Starting Battery. The Motor Is The Same On All Models, They'll Handle The Same Power Fully Loaded. (Theoretically.) If You Want The Most Out Of It, I'd Say 3000 Clean Watts Rms. But You Can Get A Smaller Amp And Improve Later. How Tall Is Your Trunk? If It's 19.5" - 22" Tall An 18" Could Fit Sub Back/Port Back. ( A D2700 Is $300 On This Site, I've Seen Them For Around That Locally, And It's One Big Damn Battery. I'd Just Get A Starting Battery Around 750 - 1000 CCA For Your Primary, The D2700 As Your Auxillary.)
  16. I'd Get It Daily Fully Loaded, You Won't Be Dissapointed.
  17. I'd Recommend An Assassin, But You're On A Budget. Can't Go Wrong With A Tang-Band, I'd Actaully Rather Have That Than The RE8.
  18. Either A Sundown SAZ-3500D Or 3000D. I Personally Wouldn't Put This Much Power In The Hands Of A Beginner (No Offense), But Hey, Who Cares? You'll Need A Very Strong Electrical System To Get The Most Potential Out Of It. 200 Amp Alt, I Use An Optima Yellow Top As My Starting Battery And A Powermaster D3100 As My Auxillary, I Think The Same Would Be Okay For A BTL. But I'm Also Going Back To My Groundpounder Ways And Throwing BTL's In My Jimmy Again, This Time With The New Style. I Don't Know if You Care For SQ Or Not When It Comes To A Front Stage, Just Don't Muck It Up With Bynines Or Any Stuff Like That. Rainbow Component Sets Are Nice, Very. If You Have The Money, I'd Also Recommend Hybrid Audio Technologies. I'll Show You What I Mean When I Get My Porsche 944 SQ Car Done About That. Personally, I'd Think You'd Be Amazed At What A BL Can Do, A BTL Will Rip Your Head Off. At Least You're Not Choosing A Brand And Sub Like Some Ricer-Boy Or Wannabe That Talks Like "Yea Mayne, Theez L7's Are The Loudest Subz In THE Worldzzz, And Thiz Hifonicz Amp Is Pwnzorz!!!1!1." I Hope This Build Actually Turns Out Great.
  19. Ouch, someone is going to read that and blow their sub. Personally if you are asking the question you should start out on the low end of things and see how that goes, not fun to blow something. Mine Hasn't. And True, The Average Person Shouldn't Throw That Amount To This Sub, But I've Beat Mine Daily For A Long Assed Time With My SAZ-1500D, And You And Me Both Know That Amp Does NOT Only Put Out 1500 Rms @ 1 Ohm @ 14.2-14.7 Volts. That Setup Is Currently In The Garage, I'm Working On Something Different. And True, Not Setting The Gains With A DMM And/Or Oscilloscope And Being A Jackrabbit On The Volume Knob Will Fry It.
  20. I Was Wondering if You Have An Assembly That Could Be Used For An Old 10" Kicker Competition 8 Ohm. The Extended Pole Stillwater Designs One, The Really Old One. And A 12-Spoke Basket. I Basically Just Want To Have Some Fun With This Motor. It's A Two Inch Coil. I Can Drill Holes In The Top Plate To Accomodate The Basket. Even If It Isn't Really Worth It, This Is For Fun And Basically For The Love Of The Hobby.
  21. Around 1800 If Done Properly.
