  1. You gotta throw the xcon in the conversation. Its a low end maniac. Denim was just to classy to throw his own product in the mix so ill do it. lol
  2. I appreciate the advice guys. Not sure which route im going to take but atleast I have some ideas in mind now
  3. Ill definately consider them. Alot of people also have been telling me about Vifa tweeters also. Any input?
  4. your not even supposed to sell anything until you get 25 post. Thats why you couldnt post this in the for sale section
  5. Budget is around $100. Would spend more if I needed to. No real space constraints. I could probably fit any tweeter in the space i have. Im probably looking at a crossover point around 2000 hz. I plan on purchasing a active deck probably the Alpine 9887 and using that crossover.
  6. Forgot to mention that the build will be in a 1996 gmc suburban. Also the subwoofer enclosure will be tuned right around 30 hz if that matters. lol
  7. Im looking for a good tweeter match for my MLI-6.5. Both the mid and the tweeter will be in the door. I could probably find a place to put the tweeter on axis if that matters any. It will be a active system ran off a US Acoustics USX-4065 (zed built) rated at 65x4 at 4 ohms. The substage will be a 18" xcon ran off a saz-1500d. Im looking for good sound. If it has the ability to get loud thats just a plus.
  8. Nice truck. Keep the picks coming. I got a GMC suburban. Im taking notes

I believe the Q is the only subwoofer that can be ran in a sealed enclosure. BL and BTL are made for ported enclosures
  10. Beefy looking amp. Im happy I can finally take advantage of a Sundown presale!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also looking forward to the replacement for the 50.4. Mark me down for that presale too. lol
  11. Welcome. Glad to see more GA people in here
  12. Those doors are sick!!! Did you make them or you had them made?
  13. Very well put. Quality read right here
  14. I tried a different browser and works alot better now. Thanks for the advice guys.
  15. Yea but it just started the past week or two. maybe i got something funky going on with my laptop. Im going to try cleaning some crap off it and maybe that will work
  16. Maybe its my computer. All the other sites i look at run fast but for some reason this website runs extremely slow
  17. For some reason for about the last week or so this website has been running super slow on my computer. Is anyone else having this problem? The information and members are so good on this site i cant go anywhere else. lol
  18. If your looking for loud get a BL or a BTL. The Q is a sound quality woofer. But to answer your question i think in the correct enclosure the q would be louder and sound better doing it
  19. What does the board look like on that old amp? That may be a zed amp. If so its a pretty good amp
  20. Stick with what Fi recommends. Those guys probably have never delt with any Fi products
  21. Im definately going to try a sealed enclosure eventually and see which one i like best. Right now I'm focusing on sound deadening the snot out of my truck. I cant stand any rattle. Next Im going to work on placement of my front speakers
  22. The BL is more of a ground pounder sub and will be louder than the q in the right enclosure. The Q is more on the Sound quality side. All of Fi products are top notch
  23. I changed my suburban over to top post. I hate those side terminals! They come loose to easily.
