Of all the boxes I've seen glassed ( and I've seen a few ) I've never seen one crack or break because of resin and I'm not talking about 1200 watt systems. LOL

I mix 3oz or so at a time and use 6 drops extra of hardener. I always work in smalll batches. From my experience I's drill the holes first for you threaded rod and have them in place before resining. Even goin slow resin chips and cracks when you screw through it and drill through it. Few Pics of last box

That's what I'm looking at From all the DC users I've talked to only 3 have been made so far and none of them ended up in competition I think they'll be just what I need to see consistent 150+ musically with a lil bitty pr. of 10's :bigclap:

I have tried rear firing and lost 2db ea. time I turned it around.(3 diff. boxes) I am looking into center port designs both slot and aero's and have another box being built going back to a 10in w port( lost .8 shrinking to 9 and making a bigger common chamber). I feel like a 51+ with one amp is poss. just need to work on gains within the vehicle i.e. deadening doors, roof etc.. Always looking for new ideas! Keep them coming.!!!

Well had a pretty interesting day. 2 amps strapped at 2 ohm 149.2:crap: re wire them to .25 apiece roll into a 150.7 and pulled the spider ring off the landing:crap: Since it came off so cleanly( lack of glue on spider landing, my fault) I centered and re glued it. Back in the box it goes. Pulled the 2nd amp and pushed the box back. Test with 1 5k at .5 trunk un sealed Test with same settings trunk sealed this time Looks like box centered pushed as far back as possible and sealed is the loudest for my GP. :cool: Final stages and a permanent seal job ( has shown to gain .5-.8) under way next

Box was tuned to 43hz in vehicle but it peaks at 40hz. LOL Best burp to date 151.0 at 40hz.

For me the softparts are everybit as important as the motor. You can have serious driving force but if the softparts shred it does you no good.

Spend half the money and go with AQ HDC Dual 2's. Basically the same thing as the DD 9500G.
