  1. i found a deal on a treo 1500.1. i may go ahead and go nuts right off the bat. edit: amp had been modded, not sure i want to deal with that.
  2. how about some excursion vids?
  3. Small footprint, seem to do rated power easily, nice cosmetics, ran cool @1ohm. anything else?
  4. Its pretty? oh you mean the sound, i'm gonna bring it up tomorrow and try it out in my buddies car off a Soundstream PCA2000d @4ohm obviously. it will be a couple weeks before i'm done getting it in my truck.
  5. high roll surround pic....
  6. First off this thing looks so much nicer in person than the website pics. it also has a ton of clearance for excursion, hopefully the pics show it. here are some box specs for those interested.... 10" .3ft has F3 of 42hz, .5ft has f3 of 35hz, .75 has f3 of 32hz and 1ft has f3 of 30hz. 12" .5ft has f3 of 45hz, .75ft has f3 of 38hz, 1.0 has f3 of 35hz, and 1.5ft has f3 of 31hz. some bandpass designs are included but once again in the manual it states that this sub is not for traditional ported boxes. Overall i'm very impressed with the build quality and i've grown to love the look of it. Hope to have a review up soon.
  7. one more thing, if these subs prove to be that good than eclipse really needs to get on its dealers for not having any info on these.
  8. wow thanks for all the info 007. i was excited before but now i'm not gonna be able to sleep until i get this in.
  9. its a natural progression, i'll move the 125.2 down to the legatia 62 comp set i plan to get and be good to go. the vas on these subs is 8.27ft, so 2 of them should get a little air moving, lmao.
  10. x2 on the brand new truck, mine has 1500 miles. i got another one.... when you start upgrading your system before its even installed, you may have a car audio problem.
  11. all this high power talk around here has me wanting to get a ssx1500.1 and another sw8200. damn credit cards, lol. gonna have to wait a bit but that will be phase 2.
  12. those must of been some shallow 10's y'all put in there. i really want everything to look as nice as it sounds so i'm gonna take my time on the install.
  13. gonna stick with passive until scott buwulda's 7's and tweets are available then i will go active.
  14. another vote for the md2
  15. damn, my next ride will be a suv so i can put a box like that in it.
  16. Personally i would go with the zx850.4, run the midbasses off 2 channels and the SS comps off the other 2. run the 5.25's off the deck and you should be good to go.
  17. thought about that too. once i get the sub in i'll pull out that storage tray and start coming up with a plan.
  18. well i have an 06 ram sport reg cab with buckets and full console. i wanted to put it directly behind the console downfiring but i didn't take the the console opening into consideration. i may just have to go with a more conventional mounting. the depth is 7.125".
  19. oh well, i'll make it work.
  20. isn't the sub channel mono and the midbass speakers should be run in stereo correct?
  21. sw8200 has been ordered oops, forgot to measure with the console open and looks like i need the 10 for where i want to put it.
  22. preorder spot is sold so now do i go with the 10 or 12?the 10 is $185 shipped, $235 shipped for the 12.
  23. the only thing that does scare me a little is the Fs which is 16hz on the 8200. my mids will be high passed at 80 hz but i don't know if the eclipse will play up to that. i guess i could stay around 1.0-1.2ft net to keep good upper end extension?
  24. yeah i thought i could wait but it could be 3-4 months on the diyma and i just can't wait that long. i would like to get both but thats not really an option financially right now.
