i think it will push a solid 600-650w so you guys think i should go for the 12 if i can get the preorder spot sold?

That Treo amp i posted is gonna be the power and its an underrated 500w bridged @4ohm. i'm trying to sell my diyma preorder spot so i can go ahead and order the sub.

i plan to try the 10 in the same box i'm gonna use for my diyma 12", just gonna cut the hole bigger once it comes in. i'm planning on about .9 gross airspace.

hopefully the eclipse subs will be a little more automotive friendly than the Rl-s.

the funny thing is they are probably running 4 awg to those amps with a 100 amp fuse.

Gonna be using this for my sub amp, probably on a new eclipse sw8000 10" until my Diyma 12" comes in.

there were ported boxes on the spec sheet of my sw8102 i think but yeah when you called they recommended sealed. i really want to grab that 10" but i need to get my head unit and wires first or it would just sit around anyway.

actually that was easy. eclipse tech support says "NO ported". sw 8000 10" .3-1.0ft net sw 8200 12" .5-1.5ft net

no idea, and you know eclipse tech support is like pulling teeth. my local dealers act like they've never heard if these too.

lol, playing with the numbers on the lmt eclipse's they take huge boxes and i don't have my car anymore, back in a regular cab Ram.

I preordered the diyma 12" but need something to run in the meantime. the amp i have is 500w rms, probably underrated. i'm looking at either one of the eclipse sw 8000 lmt 10's sealed or a single rli-8 ported. The treo ssi 8" is on the list as well and it would be ported.

yeah this is kind of a strange deal. i guess it will just take a little patience on the consumers part until things get going in their normal procedure.

are you talking about the clarion max 675vd? i was just checking it out but can't find a price anywhere.

the protective plastic is still covering the xterminator logo plate, lol. i'm not one for bling but theres a blue led that dots the eye on that plate which looks cool at night.

i'm looking for a similar unit but i'm looking at the eclipse avx 2404, kenwood ddx 6017, and alpine iva w200.

copied/pasted from pm.... if you would let him know that I am getting noise through the 75.4 but it can still be warrantied and in general I dont get much volume out of them but would take 600 for all 3 and let him send the 75.4 in. we already talked to treo and they are ready for it to come in and should be a swap out.

i know someone who may have both of those for sale used. he was asking 600 for those too along with a 75.2(not on the website).

amps are nice but not on the cheap side. what models are you looking at?

well looking at the specs the p550.2 looks very similar to that punch 75 25 to life i was looking at except for the rms ratings which everyone knows are highly underrated on the punch 75. i'm real close to getting a pair of the 75's but can't go through with it.

i'll be running at 4ohm to a comp set and bridged @4ohm to a single sub so thats not really an issue.

mike has always been very quick responding to emails imo.

cardomain has the 25 to life Punch 75's for $250 each right now, thats cheaper than the memphis and more power than the us or memphis. they average about 170x2 or 680x1 and they are built in the U.S.
