  16. Yes, and that is why they come with a dimmer knob From the studies I have read, it seems to require a medium to high intensity light for long durations. This isn't the case with you and driving, I am sure. Alrighty, I'll investigate this further then. :cool32:
  17. I bet your tires are not happy didn't get the chance to do that

  20. From a physiological standpoint, there have been numerous studies suggesting that blue light can damage our eyes. Blue light can damage the cells of the retina, which can eventually lead to macular degeneration. Just recently have there been a couple studies popping up stating that blue light is fine for your eyes, but they do not appear to have any consistent or convincing evidence justifying their reasonings. Nevertheless, you are probably correct in saying that a faint blue light on the dash of a vehicle would be fine. If it is fairly bright and you are looking at it quite often (lots of night driving), it might cause problems down the road. If the light is that bright, however, I would be worried about being pulled over and written a ticket first. Hmm, I don't want to be burning up my retinas, but don't some production cars come with blue dashes?
  21. replace the stock lights with blue led's ? It's not bad on the eyes. The dash in the dub is that shade of blue and it's really nice at night. yeah, I'm waiting for the guy who did it to get back to me with what kind of LEDs
  22. whoa, I need to figure out how to do this (the blue gauge lights):
  23. for pics, 'twas a fun night and pneumatic nail guns are freakin' fun
