I've never used Mathematica so I can't compare, but I despise Matlab. Probably comes from a general disdain for computer programming.

Three in the same day? One of your profs should give you permission to write on a different day, especially if it's a small(er) class. One is just a lab class, and it says "Test 3: FE Practice" so I guess it's not like a real exam. At least I hope it's something very simple.
