glad to hear this, im kind of in the same boat as Ryan My boss is tracking visits and I guess the first three months of this year put me in 52 different spots. No wonder I am never home. sheesh, that's a lot of traveling

hot rod, the original tranny is long gone (it was a 3 on the tree, but they couldn't get those trannies anymore so they replaced it with a 4 on the floor) so it wouldn't even be a #'s matching I6 car <--- *yawn*

other than enclosure design differences,the 18 still has cone area advantage.Its the same series of woofer so excursion etc. is equal.Full power into the 18 vs. half power into each 12 so the only offset to me would be 18 sealed vs. 12s ported for the 12s to win this! he never said anything about them being ported or sealed

yeah, they're only designed to take 6v, that's why i only turned the volume up on the HU til i saw 5.4v on the RCAs going into the amps
