Question about the Big 3
Why don't you use 0GA? If you ever have a high power demanding system in the future your going to have to re-run the wire in 0GA so you might as well do it now. And about your question I'm not sure.

btl box ideas
You should have like 36 square inches of port. And like he said up there go with a bigger box for more breathing room. edit: try a 3cuft box with 48 square inches of port.

Upgrading electrical big 3 & extra battery
Sounds good, I'm having a really hard time deciding between subs and amps and I'm trying to base it all on the electrical.

Upgrading electrical big 3 & extra battery
If I have a 165 amp alternator and the big 3 can i run 2000rms? I know 2000rms on my stock electrical will be suicide.

btl or bl

HELP NEEDED!!
Not trying to thread jack or anything but does anybody know how much a 18" SSD would weigh?

Simple ohm question
I was going to get the D1 of course because of a 2ohm load. And the flatwind coil which will help the power handling, I think it will be fine @ 900RMS with the flatwind coil. And I was trying not to spend more than $200-250.

Simple ohm question
Well I was thinking the Kenwood KAC its 1ohm stable but they don't post power ratings at 1ohm. The 2ohm load on it is 900RMS.
-
Simple ohm question
Well I'm saying this for when I order it. So wiring a 1ohm stable amp to 2ohm load will be less harsh on the amp with less distortion correct?

Simple ohm question
What is the difference between Running my SSD 900RMS@2ohms or Running my SSD 900RMS@1ohm. I think it has something to do with efficiency?

Choosing Subs
If your really looking for sound quality go with the Q line. I'm not sure how the BL and SSD compare with sound quality. Personally if I had the money I would go with the BL's just because they will get significantly louder. If your looking for legit 2000rms its going to cost you a little more than $400

Upgrading electrical big 3 & extra battery
Wow man thanks for the find on the alternator, I'm gonna have to order that tonight. Now if I just knew how to install a alternator, hell I don't even know where my stock alt is.

Upgrading electrical big 3 & extra battery
Do I have to add a kinetik in the front?
-
Upgrading electrical big 3 & extra battery
Yup a '97 2 door Tercel. I'm thinking about just doing big 3 and dropping a kinetik in the back and calling it a day.

Upgrading electrical big 3 & extra battery
That's the thing, h/o doesn't make a alt for my car. Could I use a 1500 watt amp without worrying?

Upgrading electrical big 3 & extra battery
Okay so I'm trying to get a estimate of how much wattage I can safely put out without harming my amp's by the voltage dropping. I have a relatively small car, it has a 70 amp alt and I'm not sure about the battery. I was originally going to just run 1000watts on stock electrical but I figured if I upgrade my electrical I can go a little bit bigger. Now lets say I do the big 3 on my little car and I add a deep cycle battery in the back for the amp, how many more watts would I be able to run? And one more thing when you have a voltmeter what is the danger zone in volts? I think it was 11?
