2 12" xcons or any top sub from any of the manufacturers on this site and youll be up there at the comp. what are you upgrading from? and what have you heard that you liked?

i had a discussion like this on another forum, i got flamed up and down saying that its completely wrong, but i dont think so. try it and let me know! its just like having some midbass drivers, but different....

single or extended cab? extended cab, yes. single no unless you do a blow through.

2 12's BL in a good box and with the good power on them would shake you and your car sooooooooo much !!!!!!!!! I'm sure we (all?) would love it !!!!!!!!!!! yea im pretty sure we all would. maybe not the people that hit 150+ on music, but i know i would love it!

my 12" bl does amazing on lows, its beaten many mainstream brand 15"s in a competition settings on the same power, i couldnt even imagine what 2 12" bl's would do...

i honestly think the xcons are for you.... one 12" or 15" on the saz 1500 would be perfect!

check out the ssa xcons, i hear they do really well on rock, expecially slipknot drum solos! 2 of those would be extremely loud as well!

its cheap just go to menards or home depot its in the paint section, just ask some one for a small bottle of clear silicone. you could also use some weather stripping.

what kind of vehical is this going into? if its in the trunk, dont worry about the mechanical noise, cause oyu wont hear it. and usually its the camera's fault for the mechanical noises. but my BL does botttom out on 1800 watts (on certain notes), but 1500 it handle with no problems at all, just gotta be carefull. im not sure about the BTL question..... i would try to save up a little more and get the 2200 if your going ot get the btl. click my sig to see my BL vids my newest ones have a really good camera used.

all i have ot say is that i love my 12" BL, it really opened my eyes to what "loud" is. i have mine in a 2.5 cu ft port box tuned to 34 hz with 39 sq inches of port area. and it plays the lows very nice, and it also yeilds some good db numbers. (144.6)

single 12" bl. its the best choice for you i think, but im a little biased... its alittle over the 300$ (IIRC) you want to spend but it worth it trust me.

well with 2 12" BTL's youll be louder than that. im just about that loud with one 12" BL. 2 12"s would be a better choice with that space i think.

why not just send the sub to them and have it reconed to a 18"? with aluminums. it is the same motor right?

whats your goal? like how much louder do you want to be? and do you know how loud your current system is (DB wise)? i dont think 2 15" BTL's would enjoy getting crammed into that small of a space (assuming the 7-8 cu ft is total cu ft not before any displacment)

same here. i actually hear better than most of my freinds and family, and they are all really confused cause of my system. lol

why not just strap the amps and let the master slave take over the gain thing..... and i dont understand how aluminum coils can handle more power, isnt aluminum more resistant to current than copper?? can some one please xplain. thanks.

does the comp start at 10? or does it start at 2 pm like the flier i have says? im confused.... i could probly be down there at like 11-12, im not going to miss any of the comp am i?

so i took my box out of my car to add some fiberglass resin to it, and some supports, but i was wondering what side should a port be on for the best spl. passenger side or drivers side. the sub and port will be facing the trunk. Thanks,
