will constructing a wall to seal off the front from the back of the car gain much?

Umm I have a new larger napa battery upfront and the biggest marine battery walmart has in the rear until i get back from basic training to get 3-4 kinetik 2000's and the new dc power 270xp which is 200amps at idle. I still havent done anything for doorspeakers the amp for them. I dont drive around running them all day and done expect to the sub is only there for a short 1 minute demo and a competition or two. I would really like to get two on them walled someday after hearing it i think it would be awesome. My goal is someday get a 155 on music so ill upgrade till i get there.

I recently purchased a btl 18 and a sundown 2000d which i guess puts out around 2500wrms. The problem is instead of going though a bunch of different enlosures to just ask the pros. I was personally thinking of walling off the front from the trunk. car is a 2000 coupe cavalier and theres a sound comp soon and would like some tips so any comments are appreciated. Im kinda a newbie when it comes to larger setups like this.

I dont know much about amps but what was the max rms at 1ohm with a 2000d? I know they are underrated right?

Im looking for the same but 4 cuft box tuned to 32hz does this make any difference? I listen to mostly rap and stuff that hits hard.

The box would be 4cuft at 37 hz. also i am putting it into a 2000 cavalier with stock electrical except for big 3 should there be any problems. It would be until i get the funds for the ho alt and batts.

I like the way you think. For a single woofer in a cavalier would a ssd or bl 15 be much difference?

Just that simple just put an in-line fuse within 12 inchs of the amp. Done deal. It doesnt make sense though does it if theres one at the battery. hmmm... nice amp though

Quick question if i go with two 12's instead and wire them 1 ohm would i be able to use the same amp and get the same power as to one?

Sundown amp's are top notch from what i read. Never really looked into them for that reason but they are infact very reasonably priced thanks.

Im getting a Fi SSD 15". I need to know what options to get and what i should get for an amp. Its GOING TO BE A DAILY SUB THAT WILL BEAT TO ITS MAX EVERY DAY. I want to go with the hifonics brand amp and wonder which is right. I myself think it'll take 1,500 rms no prob. These are the amps im considering... I want to get a 4.0 cu ft box tuned to 32 hz HIFONICS TXI1508D ---------1,500 rms HIFONICS-BXI1608D ---------1,600 rms HIFONICS BXI1208D----------1,200 rms All are 1ohm stable Im going with hifonics cause they are affordable but open to others. i only have like 400 for an amp.

I have stock s10 electrical and have 2 new alpine mrp-m500's. I have went through 2 alternators and wonder what is happening. Is 1000 watts too much for a stock electrical system. Thanks in advance!!!

I have a 2000 cavalier coupe. Im looking to get a Fi BL 15 or something similar. I mostly listen to rap/hiphop and want really low bass that will shake the whole car. I would like to stay within 1600 rms and hook it up 1 ohm to a HIFONICS BXI1608D. I dont know if i would be able to fit the enclosure in the car either as it would be rather large. As for the system go's im getting all new everything speakers are going to be rockford components headunit would be the Alpine touch monitor 1 din. Any opinions on what i should get for a subwoofer? I dont have the amp yet so that could be changed also. Thanks

What are the dimensions of that box? The one with the port behind the passenger seat and sub up front? I have a Bench seat but want to go with something like this. Any Suggestions?

Im not doing a blow though now and it through the window is out of the question. I just want to get it done and have it sound good so im going to build a center console with 2 fi 10's. Any ideas with which ones i should go with? I think two 10" ssds would be perfect for a single cab s10. Any ideas with which subs to use or ideas for the console?
