  1. one of the better reads here. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...p?showtopic=130
  2. I would test it for heat before doing that----it depends on the class of the amplfier. remember it takes power to make power and any power not used in wattage is lost to heat. newer class amps (full range class D's and Class G or T amps= less heat) if not running any amp----look for high effeciancy speakers---90dBs+ with 1 watt @ 1 meter rating.
  3. if going with a single subwoofer amp----go with a good Class D amp-----more eff. and less power consuption----and less heat so mounting it anywhere with no worries is no problem.
  4. I would say get a good 5 channel amp(amp the front comps and the sub) deck power tot he rears(just for alittle sound in the back----don't want to mess your soundstage up)----brands---It doesn't really matter----go with what sounds good to you----listen to ALOT before you buy---bring your own CDs and listen to them. hope this helps,

  21. I am thinking of Extremis 6.8's in the doors (with some heavy dampening) wonder how they will sound IB?
  22. the new Social Distortion "Sex Love and Rock and Roll" is totally insane---GREAT guitar and awe inspiring vocals----if you like socal punk with a harder edge----it is a great overall CD. "Don't take me for granted" one of the better tracks.
