  1. I am getting some q logic kick panel enclosures for some additional midbass in the front, and I want something this sexy without the price http://www.crutchfield.com/p_091130VR/Foca...-VR.html?tp=106 It also needs to be a 6 1/2 inch driver, and I would prefer it be a component set.
  2. Looks good man. Glad to see they got a good home Get a Sundown Audio 3kd and they will LOVE it.
  3. I like to impress people with an 18 inch sub. But I have to admit a few of them have imagined 1 18 being enough for a crazy hair trick... and it's just not going to happen. At least in a larger suv.
  4. So many people talk about how their l5 12's / 15's and boss / hifonics amps are better than my setup... (SA3KD + BTL 18 in a 6 cu ft box). Then after they get out of my vehicle they stand corrected. I had a kid tell me he just got his 10 thousand watt amp hooked up at 2 ohms to 2 powerbass subs I believe.... I said who makes the amp? He goes I don't know I got it at a flea market..... after looking at the 16 gauge power wire I was speechless.
  5. It may be because I am not very active in audio competition or that I just haven't played with many brands, but Fi is superior to any other brand I have ever used/seen/heard. The BTL is worth the money there is no doubt. Not only the BTL, but every line they provide. As far as I have seen everything is made very solid and built to last. Just pick a BTL up and you know you have something there . Something may come up in the future, but as it stands now I look forward to opening every box that I get from Fi because I know that it's going to be something good every time.
  6. Pretty darn, I was actually hoping this person would be on here and see this post. As I regretted not introducing myself and asking about his affiliation with Fi. The only Fi setup I have ever seen would have to be my own =\ But I was encouraged enough to buy a shirt, ordered it about ~3 minutes ago.
  7. So I definitely was walking through the mall in Montgomery, Al yesterday and I spotted a guy wearing a white Fi Audio shirt..... It was quite a surprise after going to most of the local car audio shops and having them tell me Fi was some cheap brand that they didn't know about. So that at least makes 2 people that are aware of Fi in Montgomery Are there any others around the Montgomery area?
  8. They do, but they are 6 1/2 inch speakers with some kind of funky ass bracket on them so that they fit into the door. The stock bracket can not be removed from the stock speaker, therefore I have to order these. And edgar, I saw that review but I believe he fixed that problem with felt pads. I am sure I could figure out something.
  9. I need to redo everything now.=\ Sounds good, I want to see this. I am waiting for some btl 21's
  10. I would go with fi products, they are all high quality and built to last. www.ficaraudio.com
  11. For a minimum you are going to need some real power (batteries) which would run you around ~1000 if you did it properly with proper batteries. You would also need at least 2 HO ALTS, that's ~600. You need some new amps for sure, that will cost you at least 3,000 for new amps. Then multiple runs of 0 gauge, ~2.50 a foot. Then after dynamat, new front stage mids / highs to even maybe keep up is going to cost you over 1k. So just prepare to spend ~10,000. Unless you just want a bunch of underpowered BtL's in a 1 layer 3/4 inch mdf box with no front stage to keep up... then you are just looking at the price of the subs and 4 sheets of MDF.... no make that 8 because that box will need to be AT LEAST double 3/4 inch MDF.
  12. As soon as they get on the site you can count me in.
  13. 14.99 http://www.crutchfield.com/p_142SMH634B/Ch...speaker+adapter
  14. I found them on crutchfield.
  15. I hate how I saw them and now I can't find them anywhere. They were ~15 for a set.
  16. I don't have intentions of modifying the doors at all. I want to upgrade the standard door speakers as well as adding q form kick panel enclosures.
  17. I searched a couple of weeks back for a converter that would allow me to put 6.5 inch midbass drivers in the doors of a tahoe and was able to find it. Now I am ready to purchase them, and I can't find them anywhere. I found them on ebay, but after hours of searching I can not find it. The speakers in the door are built into a plastic type converter so they can fit into the hole. I just need aftermarket ones so that I can install a standard 6.5 inch speaker into the door without any modification to the door itself. Thank you.
  18. So far I am very disappointed with the low end on my x's
  19. I honestly think it makes a difference as well..... I've never never heard something that sounds as good as a fully loaded 18" BTL.
  20. I want aeros now.
  21. Get the BTL fully loaded. It is the way to go, I am extremely happy with mine. I would recommend at least 1 extra battery and some 0 gauge knu wire from front to back.
  22. Are the subs built in house?.... if so would it be possible to get a look around? I'd really like to see these products personally, I hate online buying.
