i guess(hope) not that much more than a 18"BTL ... or cause of the HYPE the prices will be sky-high ... and Scott will be if u mean cone area .... its a little more than 2 15s ... other than that it is impossible to answer (2 of the same 15" subs,same power ... against one 22" ... hmmm)

in my(your) place this what would i get .... DLS Reference R6A Dynamat Xtreme Door Kit spacers ...thats just great(bang) soundin,simple and easy ... if u want it better lookin = more $$ + work(time)
which ones were u looking at ? i find the Polyglasses quite nice (some people dont like their TWs) ...if u r lookin for some "great" speakers than Focal is the way to go ... or Hertz and MY personal best .... DLS (super natural sound)
u get what u pay .... of course they r top of the line ... even the entry series like Access (i heard 165a3 ina VW Golf and they sounded amazing) are better than any other components that cost way more ...
