  1. Looks like it is all coming along nicely there's some good ideas there. Keep it up
  2. Did you ever think to get a 120V to 12V converter like they use in demo boards?????
  3. LOL, you don't need 6 volts out from a headunit. There is a reason that you buy an amplifier. But the lower the pre volts the less sound ur amp puts out. And it dose not sound as good because the amp has to work harder... Is this not correct??
  4. u know how much current draw? around 6? I'm not sure the spec's haven't been released yet. But from what I can tell the will take as much power as u can send them.... They did the testing on the 4500d on 12V and 17V I beleave. And I know that Jacob runs his at 16V for burps
  5. so what r the specs on the size going to be?? DO you know what there are yet??
  6. well I AM A get an sundown saz-4500d amp so wat eva head unit could handle chinese junk i wanna get u kno so which name brand u really know thats good what? i think before looking at a h/u you should be concerned about your charging system ... judging by what i could read from your post it seems that you do not really have a clear idea of what you need as far as anything goes ... you probably want that amp because it puts out 4500+ watts ... the problem with that amp is if you do not have a good charging system your amp will either shut off or shut you car off on every hit because of drastic voltage drops... you are going to need an upgraded alternator, upgrade all your wiring, not to mention you will most likely have to run 2 strands of 1/0 to that amp, and most likely will need to stick a couple of batteries in I will have to agree with u. That amp is going to be a power pig for a class D that's a lot of watts. I wish that I could get one two. Lol
  7. ummm 33 hertz, good average eh'? for my first custom box i am very happy. Yeah it turned out really well
  8. just check the pre volts on it you should go about a 6 volt or so. I wouldn't go to an 8 volt unless you are going to get a 8 volt compatible amp... If not you will smoke amp after amp.
  9. It all depends on what you are looking in a head unit. what r u looking for in a head unit
  10. looks good to me.. What is the tuning on the box??
  11. Can't wait to see some more projects
  12. Its coming along. Keep it up
  13. Good to see someone out there breaking records with sundown.... Good Job keep it up.
  14. Yeah it can be really hard to come up with a practical design when people still want some trunk space. And with 2 subs to a chamber it should be fine
  15. Most people that have a daily driver don't really care as long as it hits hard and sounds good.
  16. Cool what is the tuning again?? Even for a daily set up its nice to know what it hits. I'm tuned to 30 hz and I had to put it on the mic just to know. I have to mic it again I got louder after I moved the box
  17. thats a sweet ride
  18. has it been put on the TL??
  19. funkyy
