  1. it depends on your ohmmeter, but it not moving is probably the digital equivelent of "no load" or "infinite resistance" which means no continuity.
  2. does it read 0 or no load?
  3. OK OK OK! Well, so far I like it. Not love, like. Let me explain... It is seriously loud. Louder than my previous 4 12s with 2kw (total, 500w each). But the SQ is not up to par with what I was expecting for all the hype. But I'm almost positive that's because I haven't adjusted my eq yet, or the settings on the amp. When I put on the new battery terminal for the 0ga cable all my eq settings in my HU (Pioneer avh-p6400cd indash) got reset and I only spent about a minute trying to get them set back right because it started raining right after I got everything thrown in the back of the truck. Once I get all that set up correctly I will post a real review.
  4. Saleen. Roush seems to be more track oriented.
  5. Aaron can tell you I've never liked fosgate... and it's just gone downhill in the last year or two.
  6. Box and amp rack (that I built in about 2 minutes) to be covered in something eventually. The wires will be all prettied up too. I have to make new speaker wires, I cut those a tad too short New amp: JBL Powervalve BP1200.1 I tested it for ~1450wrms @ 14.4v Box and sub A lil excursion. Best excursion pic I could get. Never could time it right. It has WAY more travle than this. I made a vid of the excursion, but the framerate on my digital camera is too low to capture it properly.
  7. It doesn't have the 8P DIN connector?
  8. I dunno yet. The battery in my saw died halfway through cutting out one opening for the terminal cups (I used one set of binding posts per coil so I don't have to take the sub out if I need to rewire for a different amp) and the other one was already dead and I somehow managed to leave the charger at my parents. I'll be there tomorrow so by tomorrow night I'll be powered up.
  9. The sub MTX 9500d 12" dual 4ohm Box for the 12 (2cuft 36Hz 1" HDF w/ double-thick baffle) The amp JBL Powervalve BP1200.1 that I got for $200 from sounddomain.com. IT was supposed to be a scratched open-box item, but it was new when it got here.. woot The cable 0 gauge Audio Pipe w/ Stinger HPM and Custom Pro connectors

My BFG Excentia GTs have been good to me
  11. I'm running a Pioneer deh-p7300 at the moment, and I'm happy with it, but I'll be upgrading soon. Possibly to a Premeir 940mp, or the p9 if I can find a good deal on it. The one before this one was a Panasonic CQ-df44 (ya know, the 2000 model with the BRIGHT blue face). I liked it ok... not enough power and no sub outputs though. and that bright screen made night driving a tad irritating, even on its dimmest setting, and it was a backlit cathode tube, so when it was cold you had tot wait for it to warm up to be able to see the display. Before that I had a few Kenwoods and Alpines and liked none of them... before that was the factory Ford cd player... it didn't last but 2 weeks before i yanked it for my first kenwood..
  12. I love the newer style cougars
