Salmon have been overfished in the BC lower mainland to almost the point of total annilation... too bad too. Gone the way of the cod thanks to native overfishing.

Sturgeon are a game fish only here, lots of them around, but they aren't too good at reproducing in abundance... catch and release. Not much fun though, since they don't fight all that much. And you cannot really say how fresh fish taste without having really experienced some come up here, and there is nowhere in the world like it.

I'm from a semi-arid part of the world, which has its 100-105 degree days... but while I am out here in the St. Lawrence Seaway area, the 95% humidity and 90 degree heat makes me just die. Smells like a really dirty wet dog here too.
