How about a price list?

Specs: RL-s12 & RL-s15 LMT
All of your answers are located in the technical notes that were posted earlier. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=2748 And you can attribute the impedance of the coil to the LMT technology and coil winding to achieve it. The coil is actually 3.5ohms nominal.

RL-p not impactfull enough
Inverted mounting has no effect on output (well, besides a minute loss of cone area). I think this has more to do with subwoofer placement within the vehicle, and phase. Normally, inverting will make little to no difference with respect to phase, but, all depends on the vehicle and install location.

That's a dry heat, suck it up

Anyone seen Steve (Chevy350TPI) lately?
Good luck with the suit, and the recovery Steve.

None. It sounds, and tunes exactly the same.

Help in a Begginer system
I would personally hold onto that $130, save up a more scratch, and pick up some good components for up front, and an amp to power them.

kent got nothin on this...
HOLY chit!!!!!

Voice Coils Blew!
Clipped the amp probably. Just putting the gains half way up is not the proper way to set the gain. To get it fixed, you will need a recone.

Or don't chit though the gouging bastards called UPS & Fedex. USPS Air my friend, only way to ship something across the border (they charge $5 brokerage, maximum). Also have to remember that you have to pay GST and any provincial tax when it crosses the border.

Welcome to the IHoP
My union is in negotations right now... but, luckily, I won't have to endure no paycheck if it gets to that point. My job is considered a "essential service". Planes can't fly if we aren't working. Hope that chit gets straight, seems like a bunch of children in the sandbox.

Question
I don't follow why that would be necessary at all. I would like to hear a bit more reasoning. -10db is alot of power difference with 0dB, and if you set your gains at -10dB, when you turn up the volume, it makes it much easier to clip the chit out of everything, seeing as most music is recorded at a level of at least -6dB. I know Dave doesn't make things up... so I'd like to hear the reasoning

Question
3:1 ratio overlap, I don't follow....

Inverting sub question

Inverting sub question
Hole will be the same. You do not need to reverse polarity unless you are running two or more subs, and they aren't both installed the same way.

not exactly a "which is louder"
Yep.. 1200d is rated at 1200W @ 1 ohm, unless you are talking about strapping two together (which I never read you doing), then 2400W @ 2ohms, which you should be able to run at 1.75 ohms with impedance rise. 2 LMT's = 6-7 ft^3. Have that much room?
-
not exactly a "which is louder"
They are SVC.
-
not exactly a "which is louder"
To run the LMT you need something that is stable to at least 3.5 ohms.
-
planning to buy 15 lmt
Nominally, still impossible.

planning to buy 15 lmt
Please, do a little reading and educating before you purchase this sub...

THE Perfect Power to Weight Ratio??!
Rotary? Serious? Limitless? Sometimes people want reliablility in a race engine.
