  6. Complete!! The rhino & beany baby are protecting my deeebeeez from thieves. In the corner I currently have my 3 MAW-10s in a 1.5ft^3 sealed enclosure off of the plate amp. I do not need the subs unless I am watching movies. The low end output from the FR125S' in these BIBs is UNREAL. I can feel the kicks in my chest when I am in my listening position (in bed haha). This is truly a full range build, and I am VERY impressed!
  7. Your caps lock or shift button is broken.
  8. Need to measure the voltage & current simultaneously. Therefore, need two True RMS meters.
  9. Yes, they still have the 12" version in stock. Email Kyle for ordering information.
  10. No, they have been sold out of the 15" version for at least a month.
  11. I do believe Madisound only has one version in stock... the 8 ohm version, black cone.
  12. Since they are marketed to a home audio crowd... the lows, umm, go low?
  13. Top
  14. i think he made a FG panel / pod and covered it in vinyl (sp?) again, speaking from memory, so i may be wrong. He FG'd a baffle to the door skin, and I never saw any additional bracing. Door panels aren't rigid enough in my experience for that much speaker.
  15. I imagine the door panel might sing a touch though.
  16. Try to find used... the older Alpine's can be had for under $300 as well, namely the 9835, 9833, 9813 models.
  17. L/R EQ is the Pioneer's strong point. All others only offer L+R EQ capability.
  18. I ended up installing just one last night, since the other tower isn't complete yet. I was extremely happy that the baffles I made fit the driver perfectly . No inaccuracy at all with the dimensions, especially since I had design the driver location to have the rear of the driver braced by the port wall itself. All I can say is... the midrange accuracy & sound is extremely pleasing, and the high frequency response is extremely surprising, with only a touch of EQ'ing needed to bring that sparkle out. I'll give more thoughts once I make this thing "stereo".
  19. Seas Neo textile sounds right down your alley then. The silk dome will gives it a real mellow sound. www.madisound.com
  20. Ya, they are called socialists. LOL
  21. Topidiots.
  22. Stupid event on Facebook: Buy Nothing Day November 23rd. Ok, so I'll buy everything on the days before & after, and make no point at all. Dummies.
  23. This technology isn't limited to subwoofers
  24. hmm, my 3 way cost: Peerless = $160 NS3 = $40 XT19 = $40 So, 240 total. My processor cost $500, but I could have went with something MUCH cheaper if I needed to.
